I left my kitten's appointment feeling very upset about how the whole thing went down. This was my first visit to Carolina Place (I generally go to Ebenezer in Rock Hill). I took advantage of a wonderful service that Carolina Place provides in partnership with the Humane Society to spay my kitten for a reduced fee. $30 is exactly what I could pay right now and I'm thankful to Carolina Place for offering it. My experience with the staff I encountered was disappointing. When I dropped my kitten off, the receptionist took her unceremoniously while I was trying to calm her down. When I came back, the receptionist was cold and disengaged. She didn't even bother to look up my information, told me I was too early and brusquely asked me if it was a cat or a dog. The person who returned her to me looked like he just came off the street because of how he was dressed; I thought he was another customer. He didn't seem to know which patient he had, maybe he didn't work with her and was just returning her to me? I was anxious about going to a new place and this location was anything but welcoming.This may not seem like that big of a deal to anyone else, but the whole atmosphere was cold and distant and I didn't get the feeling they really cared about my pet or my business.

Amazing staff. Dr. Katie is very caring and thorough. Reasonable prices for your best furry friend! Clean and lots of support staff to help out.

The only vet that we take our pets too. Dr Chappell is the best vet around and has multiple offices.

Fantastic staff! The employees care and they are extremely knowledgeable. The price is fair and may even be too little for the level of service you receive. We have visited several times in the last year with our older cat. They are doing everything possible to ensure he lives a full life. I appreciate them greatly.
