I've been gone here since I was a young one, now I take my kids.  A great place for families.  Of course the candy store is a hit with the kids.  Also can fish without a license at the lake.  Lots of walking trails and horse trails.  There are various events through the year.

Thoroughly enjoyed the farm! We were surprised at the variety of farm animals: horses pigs cows goats sheep roosters donkeys and even a very friendly cat and mouse a or two. Inside there's an old fashioned schoolhouse playroom and Penny Candy downstairs. My kids and I will return! Pony rides beginning in a couple of months

Great place to take the family on picnics. The information building is fun for the little ones with the school house and country store. Lots of land to run and animals to see.

Nice park. Clean restrooms. It's nice to take a walk around the small lake. Lots of people try to fish, catch and release, but I don't know if they catch anything.

I've grown up visiting carriage hill. It's a great place to get some fresh air any afternoon. The interactive weekend events that are hosted are fun and free. Walking the trails and visiting the candy shop are my favorite things to do.
