When I was in Dayton for work I needed a place to take my fur baby for one day so I could avoid a late hotel check-out charge to the company I work for. Doggy daycare was needed and this place had excellent reviews. I took Bo to get his bordetella vaccine and temperament test, and all went well. Two days later I got him checked in and filled out the paperwork saying if anything happened to him, please take him to the vet. When I picked him up I payed and was not told of any incidents so I assumed the day was great. However, when I took him out that night, I noticed a one inch area completely void of fur and a deep puncture wound right in the middle of it. It was a wound that hadn't healed and had obviously not been treated with anything. We hadn't gone to the dog park back home since he has a full day of daycare, so the only place this could have happened was while he was at Sit, Stay, N' Play. Upon further inspection he has several scratches on his stomach and sides, and there is a big spot of blood in my car where he sat on the way home. I understand dogs will be dogs and in an environment where they are allowed to socialize and play it is hard to anticipate and prevent all negative occurrences. But for the love of God, why the hell was I not told about a bad bite mark when I picked up my dog? Why was I not called when it happened? Why wasn't the wound treated when I said he could be taken to the vet if there is a need to? If this stunt was pulled in a daycare for human children this place could be sued. I would not recommend this place on the basis that they tried to hide the whole incident. Attached picture is after a vet visit and one week to heal.

You can make overnight reservations even only a day in advance! Thank goodness!! Don’t forget to bring your pup’s food. As far as staff, most are great! You might one that gets a little annoying. But I’m sure you’d find that anywhere.

We are SO lucky to have this place close by! We have taken our dog here for about 3-4 years and its a perfect fit for us. I honestly do not know what we would do without Sit, Stay, N' Play. We travel a decent amount and even though our dog is medium sized, he has an incredible amount of energy and would not do well being boarded in a kennel for multiple days. Here, the staff knows our dogs name, his routine and I feel like they truly care about the dogs. The staff is amazing, so sweet and I definitely feel like I can trust them with our fur baby. Our dog is literally excited to go here (he might as well have a smile on his face when he realizes we are on our way) and is good and tired when we pick him up. It's the perfect place to take your dog to just play with "friends" and get out some penned up energy or to board if you don't want your pet to be in a cage all day long.

Great play to board your dog

The every-6 month bordetella requirement to even bring your dog in for a temperment test is absurd. There is no flexibility and poor customer service.
