I have spent weeks with my mother over the last year at the carriage house and have nothing but praise for the staff. It is a pleasure to watch their interactions with the clients; you can tell the people who work there really enjoy their jobs. There is much interaction with the clients and it is evident the staff know the clients well. The home is small enough to feel more like a family than a retirement home. I also appreciate that effort is made to engage my mother in the activities offered such as the shopping trips, games and music nights. And the meals are very good too!

My father was in Residence thru the whole Covid experience. Staff here were outstanding. Dad was cared for well by all levels of staff. Nursing staff looked after him like family! I was kept imformed of all changes that were happening during his stay. It is a small operation with a big heart. Thank you all!! Ron
My uncle is currently living at The Carriage House. I can't say enough about the staff and management. They have being my saving grace while we navigate the complex and difficult Long Term Care system. My biggest worry was him not enjoying the food. From day one he loved the food and liked going down to the dining room. At 97 years old he can't walk and almost blind but they took him on and look after him 100%. Thank you Gerry and all the support staff!
After hip replacement surgery, I checked into the Carriage House for after care. The staff were amazing. I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this senior's residence for respite care. They met my every need with a smiling face, kindness, and professionalism. Thank you!
It is always a pleasure dealing with anyone at the Carriage House, from the receptionist to Debbie in accounting to the nurses and Gerry the General Manager all outstanding work. I never had to worry about Kurt, you always had his best interest. Thank you. During Covid everyone that worked at the carriage house worked so hard to keep the virus away from our loved ones. Nothing but positive words and praise for the fine staff at Carriage House. Having to make the difficult decision for my partner to reside in a residence for more care than I could provide, my mind was immediately put at ease after the tour. From administration to housekeeping to frontline healthcare workers, every interaction I’ve had with staff over the past three years has been nothing short of pleasurable.
Was so very happy with the care I received for my father at The Carriage House. They are meticulous with care and safety. With all that has been going on in the world there isn't anywhere else I would want a loved one. Kindness, empathy, compassion and safety are their number one priorities. I can't say enough positive things about the Carriage House Retirement Residence.
This is by far the the worst retirement home for seniors! My mom has been there for 6 months. And when I go visit my mom all I see is people upset that the caregivers dont give them any attention! I have tried yo get my mom out but they said she is on a yearly basis. Thats not true because she pays monthly. They tell them to go sit in there rooms alone. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Such a terrible area for seniors. Doesnt make sense to have a retirement home that has nothing to offer. People paying thousands of dollars a month for nothing but food amd medication. Absolutley no activities at all for them to do and zero vistor parking. What a joke please if you love your parents never send them there it is just torture for seniors.
Since my Mom moved in several years ago, we have had nothing but praise for The Carriage House. All staff are friendly, the place is very clean, and my Mom says the food is tasty with a good variety. They have lots of activities for her to enjoy. It is a perfect fit and she is very comfortable here.
