Second visit here and we went on the guided tour again. So glad we did, each volunteer gives the same basic info, but each one adds more to the story based on what they are personally interested in. It really adds to the full picture. Everyone working the park was friendly and helpful. It is great to be able to walk around the site and try to visualize how it was. A wonderful part of history. Will visit again!

This isn't anything really special to look at compared to many of the other places that I've been to, but taking the tour and listening to the guide explain the history made this a 5 star destination. I loved hearing all of the stories and learning about the history. So intriguing. The tour wasn't all that long and I was never bored. They did a really good job. The indoor museum/information that they have is very thorough and interesting. I spent some time in there as well and learned a lot. The bathrooms were clean and free and they had clean fresh water a plenty to fill all my water bottles. It's right by a Walmart as well and so although it's out of the way, it made for a great way point on my trip to see some beautiful sites, refuel, and grab some snacks.

Worthwhile, low-cost stop full of history in a beautiful desert setting. The big house is great to see, and so are the desert plants, artifacts and helpful park rangers. Great for kids (take part in the Junior Ranger program) and adults, alike. I've been a few times, each time for 1-2 hours. There are restrooms and picnic areas for travelers.

I understand that there's history involved with this place, that being said, I don't get it. First off, the Casa Grande Ruins aren't even in Casa Grande, they're in Coolidge. It sets a good piece off the road and is hard to get to. There's NOTHING else there. No benches, tables, nothing else to do except stand there and look at it. I mean no disrespect to anyone or any race, I just don't see the attraction, don't think many others do either.

Great quick national monument. The the museum was small but information packed with several Rangers who helped to augment what was available on the printed materials. Outside they provided guided tours of the casa grounds and there is an interpretive tour that you can do yourself at any time. Well worth it.
