This is a small casual family owned and operated restaurant. The food is authentic and reasonably priced. I come here for dinner and usually spend around $25 for 2 dinner plates and 2 drinks. Free drink refills and chips n salsa. Generous portions and friendly service. Green Chicken Enchilada plate is my fave.

Hi Well I've been to Casa Jimenez located on Whittier Blvd & Broadway in the city of Whittier. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE FROM LAST YEAR TO THIS YEAR. The food was good & the service was with a smile . Now it sea as though That smile was turned upside down and the server would rush you out the door. I ordered the Chicken Mole.Plate It appeared as though they grabbed two pre-cooked little drumstick with a wing attached and a small thigh. Along with rice and beans. I wasn't impressed. It's best for the weekend breakfast . What happened here..? Let's hope it improves or we'll be going back to Scottys for breakfast also located on Whittier Blvd. Tell me about your experience.

The last 2 times we were there, my chicken said was not good. Chicken was dry and no flavor. The other time, my pork burrito was also, the meat had no good flavor and my husband shrimp plate, the Chipotle sauce was not good, and this time they gave him less shrimp compared to last time.

It was wonderful and relaxing closed down the place.
