I took my car (brand new Buick Encore 2017) in to have the light changed--blinker went out. They scratched BOTH SIDES of the bumper when they removed it--they did tell me about it and I appreciate that--I would have noticed, but I appreciate them telling me first. They said they would order touch up paint to fix it. I took my car to two different body shops in town to see how long it would take to fix the scratches and BOTH OF THEM said at LEAST 2 DAYS that the bumper needed to be removed, sanded and repainted in order for it to look like the new car that it is. The car dealership said they can do it in FORTY-FIVE MINUTES--it is going to look like a 45 minute job. I paid an awful lot of money for this car. I told the young man I would not sign off on anything until we saw how it would stand up to the weather, I also told him that I was very frustrated and not happy and who should I start discussing this with? He said well, you can start with me and then if you don't like the touch-up job, we might have to get the Service Manager involved. The bumper is chipped down to the plastic--on both sides--they had to LOOK ON THE INTERNET to see how to CHANGE THE LIGHT--their words, not mine. Maybe they can work miracles--but I doubt it. I'd rate lower if it were possible. We've went there multiple times, the last 2 were horrible experiences. My son had his truck towed up there and was diagnosed needing a fuel pump. $1300? I've changed in tanks pumps myself and was just appalled they tried charging that much. When I had it towed to another repair shop that I completely trust and has never performed work that I needed to take it back for (CJ Auto) GMC got very irate/rude with not only the tow driver, but my son. Cussing them out for "taking their work" May be if they would have quoted an honest price (CJ Auto did it for less than $700) we would not have been forced to "take their work" Furthermore, GMC said it was leaking fuel (could not find out where as they never put the service order/diagnostic paperwork he was charged $130 for in the truck for us to review) which was NOT determined to be leaking once a second set of eyes inspected it. Shady at best. Similar experience previously. Overcharged us for work that may or may not have been needed. We just became wise to their true dealings when quoted last time $1300 for a fuel pump that was successfully repaired for $675 at another shop. Its obvious they lost our business, please don't let yourself or anybody you know get taken advantage of by Casper GMC.

I will not trust this service department with my car in the future. We have had trouble with recall work that was not completed correctly (our trunk worked before bringing it in for the recall and did not work the day my car was returned). We were charged a service fee to follow up with the recall work. After several calls, we have not had a returned call from the manager. A call to the Buick customer service rep did not help, they will always side with the dealership. Very poor customer service, in my opinion.

Made an appointment several weeks ago to have an oil change and the rear defrost tab reconnected in my Yukon. In addition, I asked for the shocks to be tested but asked that if any work was needed on them to run it by me first. I brought the vehicle in at 8am and asked them to also look at rear seat warmers for the third time. Two times prior while the vehicle was under warranty they supposedly fixed the issue. I was immediately reminded they are not Greiner anymore. By 2:30 I had heard nothing so I called. I was told the technician was writing an estimate and rep would call shortly. Finally at 3:30 I received a phone call with the estimate. At that point the oil change nor the rear defrost tab reconnection had been worked on - the original reason for the appointment. They had my car for 7 1/2 hours and yes it’s an inconvenience and takes planning. I told the service rep I was going to call my husband and discuss. We then headed to pick up the vehicle at 4:00. When I arrived I told the rep we wanted to pick the vehicle up and have no work performed. After standing in the lobby for over 20 minutes, he brought my vehicle around. Saying nothing he did some typing, called his supervisor over and handed me some paperwork. He went into this long explanation of what they did and pointed out the $130 bill. I refused to pay it and stated that my vehicle had been there for 7 1/2 hours and NOTHING was completed that I had made the appointment for. Then I got why he called his supervisor over - he knew he needed backup with the bill he was going to give me. He said it was for his technicians time at looking at my vehicle. I said no fee was EVER disclosed to me any of the 3 times I had talked to the rep (when I made the appointment, when I dropped off the vehicle, nor when he called me about the vehicle estimate). Apparently it’s a known thing and I was an idiot not to know about it. After much bickering back and forth the supervisor told the rep to give me my keys and told me that next time I bring my vehicle in I will know there is always a diagnostic fee. I said there will not be a next time. We bought this $70,000 vehicle brand new originally from them (I mean Greiner!) and the loyalty to keeping customers is not there. They ARE NOT Greiner anymore and apparently that changes customer service to those who bought vehicles from Greiner. I want to shop local but this is just another reason to shop out of state and use other service departments in town. By the way they wanted to charge me $95 for a kit to reattach my rear defrost tab - I called a local glass shop that I have used for our vehicles and they said no problem bring it down and it’s FREE!
