All my cats have been with Dr. Hugo for many years.  It is impossible, to find a more knowledgeable honest, or wonderful vet for your cat. I was thrilled when I found him and hope he never retires.  I trust him without question.   He never over charges or preforms unnecessary tests.  Your furry friends cannot be in better hands than Dr. Hugo.

My cat had not been to the hospital since she was a baby. She came from the humane society and was very ill. They took care of her until she was well, gave her all her baby shots,  spayed and declawed her. She is an indoor cat and never goes out or sees other animals; therefore, she has no need for any other shots. She just became sick and was getting worse. She was vomiting until there was nothing there. She lost weight. I called for an appointment. The man who answered (I assumed it was Dr. Hugo) asked what was wrong with her. I told him. He then  told me that with the holiday approaching(Labor Day)  and them closing the office for it, he really didn't want to take on this illness. I told him she was very sick and asked what am I suppose to do now. He told me that they usually refer people to another vet's office in Coral Springs. He then asked me, "Do I have a lot of money because it is expensive?" I said, "No". He then said that I should take her some place else.

What kind of doctor would do or say this? I had a good experience with them several years ago. Time must have really changed them. I found a new vet. He is wonderful.

Just want people to know that if you don't take your animals for shots every year and give them a yearly income, be aware that when you really need them, they may not be there.  Find another vet.

Great Doctor! Not cold at all, he is very straight forward with no fluff! If he cannot give the cat the best care, he will recommend to Coral Springs Animal hospital...which is very expensive, but they know what they're doing.
I wouldn't bring my cat anywhere but Dr. Hugo!

My cats have been seen by Dr. Hugo for years, you will not find a more experienced, honest, caring vet for your cat.  One of my cats had serious health issues and Dr. Hugo went above and beyond to try and help her. He will tell you exactly what you need to know, and will not waste your time or money on treatments if he doesn't believe it will benefit your cat.  I hope he never retires, It will be tough to find another doctor to take his place.

Was willing to try him out because of the good reviews here. Call about our cat of 18 years dying and the dr was very cold and short seemed to only be concerned if we had enough money to afford his services (which we do). But I don't want our family member feeling the type of vibe in her last breath. Every interaction matters doctor, even a phone call with potential clients . Maybe he was having a bad day but someone calling about there dying family member should create some empathy but maybe that's only for people that have been paying him for years
