This is an amazing steak restaurant. The service has always been excellent for me. All meals come with all you can eat salad, bread, and beans. The atmosphere is kind of cowboy/old west. So the dress code in plain casual.

The food was pretty good, the waitress was good, I just can't believe that today's restaurant etiquette sucks. I was taught that when dining out we were respectful of other dinners and kept our inside voices. An occasional laugh could be heard but you could have conversations with the person across the table from you. Now it seems like everyone is yelling across tables, laughing overly loud and it is just annoying. Does anyone know any more quiet restaurant so we can eat peacefully!!

I don't know how this place gets 5 stars from anybody. My wife and I love steak and have a few favorite places but have never been to Cattlemens. We saw some good things online so decided to give them a try. The first time we ate there we both got the rib-eye. liked the salad and bread and when the steaks came they looked good. Then we cut into them and they where literately raw. We had ordered med rare but they were cold and bloody raw as if they only touched the grill for a couple seconds. We sent them back and just figured that's what they call med rare. Then when we got them back they were average and not as tender as we have gotten in other places in the area. We heard that they had a T-bone special on Wednesdays so figured we would give them a second try. The steaks were very tough and unsatisfying. My wifes was worse then mine and they said they wanted to replace it, witch they did. The manager replaced the steak and it was not any better but we just figured that's why they were a special. The manager was very nice and gave us a $20 discount for next time we came in. Since we had the discount we decided to try it again. My wife ordered the Dakota chicken and I ordered the prime rib. The prime rib was delicious but my wife's chicken was super dry and we sent it back. I shared my food with her, so we enjoyed that. in the end we liked the bread, salad, and prime rib but I am sad to say the rest is not worth the money. We really wanted to like this place and gave many chances to impress us but in our opinion you would be better off going to Texas Roadhouse for a much better steak.

Great food wonderful service and no wait time. We had steak and baked potato with the tumble weed onion. It was so very good. Our waitress was helpful and cheerful. Glasses were never empty.

This is our favorite restaurant. Sadly, our last 2 visits were unsatisfactory. We've been happily dining here for over 30 years, and we will come back, but I hope these newer managers get things under control quickly. When we came for my husband's and son's birthdays, my husband's t- bone was mostly bone. I've never seen it so skimpy looking. When we asked the waiter, he said there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to the manager, who chuckled at us and said the steak looked fine to him. He apparently missed the point that the customer paying $30 for the piece of meat did not think it was fine. The dog enjoyed the giant bone, though. This last visit was okay, although the service was lacking. We chose to dine in the bar, which we have done many times, but it took awhile to get a cocktail, longer to get water, and the main course was just barely warm when it arrived. The steaks were good quality this time, and flavorful as always, but I could tell mine had been sitting for several minutes under a heat lamp. The vegetables were cold. I sent them back to be reheated, and when they finally cane back they were room temperature and rubbery. Blech. As I said, we'll always come back, but until they get stuff together, perhaps we will try a Wednesday evening. I'm looking forward to giving them back their 5 stars.
