Food was great as always. Had BBQ white tuna, puff daddy, Japanese mafia, etc.. Sitting was a issue this time. We (5 of us) were squeezed into a small table, due to being super busy, but when we were leaving, all the tables around were still empty...and I am a blue Kokki club club holder, that didn't matter, as I am not a black card holder!!!  Left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth, totally could gave been worked out, instead they just smiled and said nothing can be done. Poor customer service can ruin even the best tasting food. Taro wouldn't be happy...

I got the Japanese Mafia roll and while it was good, it wasn't anything spectacular. The pork dish was good but the noodle had no flavor. Our waiter was slow in getting to us at the bar.

Four stars for the food bumped down to two for the lack of service.    Stopped in to get some Japanese 'tapas' and the experience started out great.  The server came right over, took our drink order, came back with a pitcher of amazing Pineapple Mojitos and took our food order.    

Then, while we were enjoying our wonderful Pineapple Mojito pitcher (try them, SO good) some random guy dropped off two of our sushi rolls -- no plates, no wasabi, no little dishes, no nothing.  As we sat there for five minutes waiting for someone to look over.... another random (but different guy) dropped off our last item which was little chicken nugget things.  We asked him for some plates, wasabi, soy dishes... took them five minutes to bring back.  Seriously people, without the wasabi and dishes for the soy what are we supposed to do with those sushi rolls?

The server checked on us right before... you guessed it, we were finished and it was TIP time!    I might come back if in the area for the food but certainly not the service.

This place is absolutely amazing, with the most delicious food. Now... What made the experience over the top wonderful was the accommodations they, and specifically Taylor, made on our behalf. I am unable to have rice and she made sure to help find ways to substitute the menu items to help me, and the chefs had no problem changing it up for my very high maintenance requests. We were already amazed at the service when we had casually made the comment of being allergic to avocado. The next roll came out and she had apologized for taking so long, 'they had cleaned all the boards and utensils so there would be no contamination'.  By far one of the best dining experiences ever.  If we could give more stars, we would.

Came here for lunch with my 2 year old son. It was a beautiful day and we asked to be seated outside. I love the sun shades they have out there! The staff was nice and the bento box lunch for kids is great! My roll was very tasty as well. It did take them a while to bring the kids meal, but other than that great lunch date with my boy;)
