Been coming here since I was a kid and now my family comes here several times a year. This is a beautiful campground and yes there are a lot of rules for a reason. No one wants to look at your trash so clean up after yourself. My family picks up trash while we visit and the amount of trash has appalled us over the past couple years. Bring trash bags and pack Out whatever you bring in. Huge dumpsters are available for you. Radios are banned because people Had to ruin it by blasting their radios in the camp. Be respectful and enjoy the scenery and you will have a blast. Oak creek is a beautiful place treat it like a friends home !

This is one of the best campgrounds in the Sedona area in my experience. The staff is always very friendly, they have a general store for those forgotten items, hookups for large campers, and beautiful campsites aplenty. That said, during peak season it can certainly fill up, despite the plethora of spaces. Some of the A loop reserve-able spaces have beautiful views and sounds of Oak Creek right behind them (I'll have to try those next time). I've never had a bad experience camping here. Which leads me to believe that the staff does a good job of keeping louder campers quiet and courteous. The bathrooms are as clean as pit toilets can be, and they have showers (should you need them). And the best part is you're right next to oak creek and lots of hiking areas are just a short drive away. Plus Sedona itself is a treasure. Looking forward to the next camping season here for sure!

Wow was this a great campground! Best place to get away from the AZ sun! I suggest staying here and driving to Horseshoe Bend and Grand Canyon-which are both a little over 2 hours from this campground. Also, they have showers for $4 for 8 mins. There is also lots of hiking trails. They also provide clean drinking water and fire pits.

The only reason why we give this a 2 is because the restroom. Never been to a camp ground that was so smelly. Not sure if it was just the people or the staff. The camp sits where beautiful! Well kept!
