Winter camper. Location of store could be better. Quite a way up hill from most of the campground. Fun New Years porluck-party. Access to river not real visible and definitely not handicapped accessible. Enjoyed the area as there was lots to see and do. Only about 30 minutes from Sedona.

Love this place. Staff is great. Views are amazing and there are lots of hiking trails to keep active and explore.

Half the sites bagged and not to be used. All seem to have high voltage issues. Site 21 has site 22 sewer covered with rocks so can’t use that. 50 amps are 5, 4 or 3 dollars extra a night. Some bagged sites have extension cords plugged into them.

Really nice hiking trails on the property. Sites aren't overly large but fine if you're not looking to stretch out at your site.

I dont camp here so Im only giving it a 3. I know a couple of people that do live here so here's my perspective. WATCH you're speed! Watch out for Bill!!! He will nail you n is very rude about it. Not only will he warn you but he will tell you if he catches you again you will be banned from the park WHAT!!! And this is on your first warning! DO NOT GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT EVEN 1 OVER! they allow cats and dogs but no barkers no aggressive dog's there is no limit at this time but their rules change every 6 months so check with them first. Most people are friendly. The family area fills up quickly but further down there's a lot of spaces flatter area n lots if green colder in the winter its closer to the verde river. A lot of spaces are covered n not available but dont know why. Construction on hwy 89a getting to the place so can be confusing
