Story

The Center for Laser Surgery was founded in 1995 by the late Dr. Robert M. Adrian, a world-renowned pioneer in laser medicine. As one of the first practices in the world to incorporate lasers into the treatment of skin disorders, the Center is internationally recognized for its contributions to modern laser dermatology. Working closely with laser manufacturers, many of the cosmetic laser technologies and treatments available today were researched, developed, and perfected right here at the Center for Laser Surgery. Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Thomas Adrian and the experienced cosmetic providers at the Center continue this tradition of excellence today. A longstanding tradition of outstanding service and extraordinary results places the Center for Laser Surgery as Washington, DC’s leader in general and cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic laser surgery, and skin care.

Dr. Adrien is wonderful, as is all the staff at CLS. I was seen promptly upon arrival for my appointment, per usual. Dr. Adrien is friendly and efficient! He remembered all my concerns from last time and was able to follow up and work with me to come up with a plan of action. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dermatologist!

I have been a client of the Center for a year now for tattoo removal.  I was expecting this process to be painful and stressful, but Melanie's approach and bedside manner have made the process so easy and painless. The people who work here are trustworthy, funny, and kind and I can't recommend the Center more highly.  My feedback is listened to and Melanie is always clear and honest with what to expect. I've never had such a positive experience at a medical office and I'm sure the quality of service extends to other treatments the Center provides.

Love the staff!  The front desk staff is genuinely so nice.  I am getting my tattoo removed with the nurse Gloria and I absolutely love her.  I've done about 3 sessions so far on a blue and black tattoo and everything is working out really well.  They give you medicine to help with the pain so the laser isn't all that painful.  Plus parking is super convenient.

Excellent facility with many  patient treatment rooms and two waiting rooms. Dr. Adrian and his staff were extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. He did two small procedures during my visit and both were quick and relatively pain-free. I had as good an experience as one can have in a doctor's office.
There is a pay parking lot behind the building and a convenient Starbucks in front.

I've been a patient of Melanie Erb's (the nurse practitioner) for eight years.  She is amazing!  She is very meticulous and listens well to ensure the best results.  Also, all of the staff at Center for Laser Surgery are super friendly.  The whole environment is welcoming.  Definitely ask for Melanie!
