Don't waste your time going to this store in either Coronado or Cottonwood. At Coronado an associate asked me as I walked in the door if I was looking for anything, I asked about Nike Shox and was pointed to a selection that had about 3 styles to choose from. I stood in that section for over 10 minutes and no one asked if I wanted to try anything on; mind you that this was on a Sunday at 7PM and there was only one other person in the store. After asking an associate my self to try some shoes, they didn't have anything but the white shox in my size! I settled on the white shox, but after getting home didn't really like them especially if I'm paying over $100 for shoes. I went to return the shoes, because I looked at Finish Line & Finish Line has way more styles & way bettere customer service. I went to Champs in Cottonwood because it's close to work & of course the associates just stood behind the counter waiting for me to approch them instead of it being the other way around. I let them know I had a return and after looking at my reciept the cashier told me that he couldn't refund my money because he didn't have the cash in his drawer!!! How do you expect to run a business if you can't keep up with the needs of consumers?! The cashier very rudely stated to me that I could call Coronado & see if they'd have the cash in their drawer. If they had any customer service training whatsover, which I doubt any employee at Chmps has had, they'd be nice enough to contact Coronado themselves to see if they could process the refund. Regardless, the transaction should've been able to be processed and my money returned back to me. Overall I wouldn't ever recommend purchasing from Champs; in less then a week I've encountered nothing but rude and unattentive employees at both locations. They have very little selection of styles and even less of sizes to choose from. I'd recommend to anyone looking for Athletic shoes or apparel to go to FINISH LINE! The customer service at FINISH LINE is great, they have so many styles to choose from, and if they don't have a style or size in store, but it's online, they will offer to order it & have it shipped to your house. The prices are very similar and Finish Line always has discounts and promotions so their prices end up being cheaper. I payed $130 for a pair of plain white Nike shox at Champs, and found a black & pink pair of Nike Shox at Finish Line for $30 less then the plain white ones that Champs has. Overall I'd even pay more to deal with Finish Line then go to Champs. Champs is a rip off and they need a new Customer Service system, beacuase rifgt now it, it's a joke. So I recommend for everybody to go to FINISH LINE, you'll enjoy the experience more, and get better styles at a better price!
