A few seem to think that they are above the law. When you interact with the public, it is your policy to identify yourself as OUR public official. So we can commend or complain if needed. Or to have record of certain encounters Incase of a lawsuit or crime. When you don’t give your information, you seem to be hiding something. If you want respect, give it. Seems like the Lt. and Sgt. need some education also. Can’t really blame the pawns when the kings are calling the shots. I hope you shape up because you’re bringing some unwanted attention to your town. And cops wonder why so many dislike them.

First off i want to thank James, that took my lost dog call, he was an amazing person he would call me whenever he had a chance to let me know where my wife and I dog was. Second, officer furer (sorry if i spelled your name wrong sir) I want to thank you for being a quick responding officer, you were great and was able to find our dog as soon as you could (even though it took more than an hour). Third, officer Sitcher ( sorry if i spelled your name wrong as well) you were great and gave me a bro hug when i was in tears from almost seeing our dog get hit, same with the other officer. Thank you guys so much you guys are amazing and please let the angels from above keep  you safe while you all are protecting our city. Also devoting your  time to rescue our four legged friends from harms way from going above and beyond in your call of duty to protect and serve. We appreciate what the police officers and dispatch has done to show that officers care about more than just people.

Be careful when getting pulled over by this department! These officers seemed pretty hostile in the YouTube video.

The CPD is known well for profiling people. It's funny, they don't find gunpoint robbery to be all that serious, but we're quite quick to make an arrest for an assumption of dui with no proof to back themselves up. They'd rather hassle a 20 year old than catch a man who's robbing people with a deadly weapon. Really shows where their priorities are at if you ask me.
