It was difficult coming up with the rating for Charleston's. I've eaten here often enough to say it's really great but not enough to say it's always great. I always have prime rib and they will let you order how much you want. I'm talking mouth watering, melt on your tongue type of prime rib. This last time was so different. It was bad. All of it. We had to wait on service and they got our drinks wrong. Salads were good but when they offered extra dressing, that took forever. When our main meal was served, my prime rib was cold, dry, and tougher than I've ever experienced. Again, during the main meal, service was so slow. I'm going to try again and I'm hoping it goes better then.

First time to eat here with family from out of town. Good waiter he was young and inexperienced but very nice and did try. The drinks weren’t refilled very much. And with four adults and a baby they seated us in a booth by a walk way..it was horrible. The food was kind of disappointing. Overall, an okay experience.

Great food & fantastic service. I happen to be vegetarian, and eating out can be difficult at places like Charleston's, where there's not a single plant-based meal option on the menu. Even all of their salads have meat on them -- and I know, I know, I can order the salad without meat, except that the meat is the most expensive part of the salad, so I end up paying $15 for lettuce and carrots. Understandably, I began dinner disappointed. However, GM Jason was FANTASTIC. He was extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions, remarkably knowledgeable about every ingredient in every menu item, and he was an all around pleasant person to interact with. Any business in any industry would be hard-pressed to find a better person for management. Great overall experience -- we will definitely be coming back. Although, I hope to see veggie options on their menu in the future :)

The waitress was efficient. Drinks were refill way before its empty. I am impressed. Will definitely be back. The potato soup was on point and delicious.

I did not complain in person because I’m the type that doesn’t like to complain. I feel you earned the right for a review because the meal was delicious. Our waitress recommended fish of the day which was swordfish, I love grilled swordfish. I don’t know if there was a mixup in the kitchen, the supplier is mislabeling or the waitress got it made a mistake; but it was most likely mahi-mahi. Swordfish meat is firm it does not flake off. They are comparable in price is so I enjoyed the meal which was delicious but not swordfish.
