I've banked with Chase for a number of years as have my husband and adult children. One of my sons and I needed a document notarized recently and, knowing what poor customer service this branch typically has, I immediately asked the teller if they had a notary on staff today before I spent any more time waiting. She confirmed that they did so I signed the wait list. In about 10 minutes, I spoke with a banker and told him we needed something notarized, that I had an account with Chase and then showed him the documents. He said he could help us but needed to wait another 25 minutes. Once our turn came, the banker took another look at the documents and asked if my son had an account with Chase to which we answered no, he does all his banking through the military. It was then that were told it is Chase's policy only to notarize documents for Chase account holders but he would be happy to open an account for him so he could get the documents notarized!!! Are you kidding?!?! The moral of this story is that this Chase branch continues to have very poor customer service. I continue to use them because they have the most accessible branches nationwide but I will now be closing my accounts and switching to Wells Fargo, whom I've also used for 15 years and have been very pleased with.

I don't bank here anymore, not because I don't like it. It's a very good bank, clean place and happy employees here. They explain everything well. I felt respected. I only left because I got married. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

We just moved to the Houston area and my wife & I have had poor customer service everytime at the 242 location. In drive through and inside. Yesterday, my wife was in line behind 2 gentlemen. The woman commented to one man why he didn't do electronic (as though it was an inconvenience for her to "work"), he replied politely (conversed with her) about trusting to come in instead, etc.; no response from the lady. Everyone in line looked at each other, seeing the same POOR service take place. The gentleman wished "good luck" while he was leaving. It seems to be one particular brunette woman, she makes no eye contact, impersonal, impatient, and obviously doesn't like her job. You would think, if you're handling money, you would present yourself as a nice, trustworthy person. Not so much at this location.

Like the Bank but will change farely soon BECAUSE they will never answer the phone. The message is canned and always says they are assisting other customers and call back in a few minutes or call an 800 number. When you call the 800 number, they don't have a frigging clue of what's going on, it takes forever for them to find the branch your trying to contact and then they send you to the branch and you get the same message AGAIN..I'm Done...I'm looking for a bank that will give you personal service and also answer their phones....if anyone knows of a bank like that, let me know please..

Employee would not allow me to deposit cash into my account at the teller desk and then proceeded to escort me to an atm machine and looked over my shoulder the entire time during my transaction. Her attitude and words were very condescending and rude. Will not be coming back
