Our precious little granddaughter went home to be with Heavenly Father in late October. Our sincere thank you to Chauvin Funeral Home for the wonderful care and love they showed our family. Every little detail was taken care of. Chad made the arrangements for our baby girl with great respect and consideration of everything we requested. At times like this when losing a loved one a family needs a place to care for those final arrangements. Chauvin Funeral Home was like our family giving us love and comfort during our saddest time. I was able to make all the arrangements for my mother's funeral from out of town. I could choose everything on line and pay ahead of time.  Saved a lot of travel time.  Kevin and Jency were there to guide me the whole time before and even after the funeral. I can't even describe how much stress they took off my shoulders.

My name is Zoe Bergeron. Chauvin Funeral Home recently handled all of our needs for the burial of my father. They were absolutely GREAT! From the time we walked in the doors to make the arrangements, all the way through the burial of my father which took place out of town. Claire, Kevin, Chad and Duane were SUCH a blessing in that they catered to our every need. I’m sure I’m leaving out some of their names and I apologize. Duane put together the most beautiful table scapes I’ve ever seen to display my dads prize winning carvings at the funeral. I seriously can’t say enough about how wonderful and welcomed they all made us feel. My mother passed away in Atlanta Georgia .  I was very nervous about getting her safely back to Houma , La.  to be buried in our family vault.  Chauvin made everything easy and stressfree. I thank them so much for everything they did!

The care that was given to the family of Lariana Mayen was so wonderful. To lose a child prematurely/stillbirth is one of the most difficult moments parents and families can ever go through. I can’t say enough good things on behalf of Mr. Chad and the entire staff at Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma LA for the overflowing care, love and support they gave to Elmer & Nicole Mayer during the loss of their precious daughter. They did this at absolutely no cost to them. Their kindness and love will never be forgotten in our eyes nor God’s. Our father passed unexpectedly during the Thanksgiving holiday 2021. We went to the funeral home but found they were closed. Kevin, the funeral director happened to notice us and came to the door. His service was spectacular and he stopped right then and helped us prepare for our fathers funeral. The funeral went perfectly. All of our experiences with Chauvin were extremely positive. They are friendly kind and caring. Thank you Kevin and team.

Chauvin has served my immediate family several times in the past 2 1/2 years. Their patience,  compassion, and efficiency were very helpful in dealing with emotional and difficult situations. Their presentation of our love ones was PERFECT! Selection of merchandise was able to reach all levels of finance.
