Thank you Chef Alisah and family for the delightful birthday dinner. Your mixed grill is the stuff dreams are made of, the wienerschcnitzel would be awesome any time of day and your stuffed grape leaves were astonishing. The only thing that rivaled your fare was the service and wonderful homespun atmosphere you created for us. Thank you for making us feel welcome and preparing a top-notch dinner for my family and I. We shall return.

Best sausages and Bosnian style food in town. A real hidden gem. Family atmosphere. Focus here is on the heaping plates of delicious food!

Disappointed! I rarely ever take the time to write negative reviews... but the owner of this restaurant was such a jerk to me! I visited the restaurant in late April after their big "Best Grill" sign caught my eye as I was driving by. It was about 4pm, I had volunteered to help a local Charity Foundation called GAP Ministries by asking nearby businesses if they might be willing to help through possibly donating an item, gift card or service for an upcoming event raffle which raises funds which support foster kids in the community. Upon my simple inquiry, the Chef/ Owner immediately started verbally attacking me because... I myself, had never dined in his restaurant. He went on and on in an angry rant about how dare I ask for a donation if I had never even tried eating their my self. I explained that I didn't intend to offend him that I live on the other end of Tucson and was simply volunteering to help a charity. He looked at me and said "where do you take your family to eat?... then gestured toward my waist line and said probably you eat junk!!" He proceeded to take out his cell phone pull up yelp and tell me that he was the best chef in all of Tucson and in his category in the entire west coast. That he had been in the news papers and didn't seem to buy the fact that I had never heard of his establishment. I explained that I have a baby on the way and don't go out to eat but on special occasion but that I would never come back because his ego is so big there would be no room to sit, and shame on him for being so cold and offensive in his rejection... I was simply their as a volunteer for a Foster Care charity! Look folks, his food may be great... I am not weighing in on that now. I am simply saying, what makes a local restaurant wonderful isn't limited to the quality of the food but the integrity of the proprietors and how they treat patrons. I NEVER approached him with an attitude or expectation of support... truth be told it was difficult and awkward to be asking business owners out of the blue for support. I volunteer for local charities like this one because I believe the mission is bigger than my pride and the need was worth the temporary inconvenient-awkwardness... In the end, I had so many surprisingly generous & and supportive business owners and managers that I will always refer business to because of their kindness and tact... even when the answer was NO. So Chef Alisah, If you are reading this... our Tucson community has supported your restaurant for many years (as you pointed out while lecturing me) ... If you decide that a local charity like GAP Min. does not inspire your support in their time of need, that's okay... really... but to belittle the guy volunteering to help them is quite unacceptable!.. which is why you sir, EARNED THIS 1 STAR REVIEW! I'll stick to my "Junk Food" I guess. BTW ... Every Business that donated or at least supported by giving out invitations to the fundraiser... helped to raise over $8000 for this amazing local charity and ALL of them Received 5 star reviews on both google and yelp as an added thank you!

Delicious, reasonably priced food. Fantastic customer service. Warm and welcoming attitudes from the owners. I might go back to this restaurant just so I can feel like someone cares about me haha
