I only gave 3 stars because the service was great, the stuffed mushrooms were great but the spaghetti and meatballs were disappointing. The sauce was okay but didn't taste Italian and it was orange so it was not made with wine, it was flat tasting. I ordered meatballs with it and a side order of Italian sausage. The meatballs were too tough and chewy so they didn't put enough bread crumbs in them, if any at all, Italian meatballs should be soft and tender. The sausage was too spicy for me, maybe some people would like it that way, but it was very peppery. I prefer a sweet Italian sausage. It was Friday night and there was only three tables occupied indoors the whole time we were there, the outdoor patio was mostly full, but usually this place is full inside and out. I think something changed with their food recipes because it just wasn't as good as I remembered it to be since the last time we went there. It would be nice too if the dinner came with a salad instead of just a basket of dry bread, (no butter). The last time I was here I got the eggplant and it was to die for and the marinara sauce was better than the stuff I got on my spaghetti this time. The service was very attentive and friendly. I left a 20% tip for the excellent service. If I ever go back, I will not get spaghetti and meatballs.

Food was OK. Not great not good, just OK. We sat outside which was really nice. Beautiful night to be outside. BUT, the service was horrendous. And I mean every enunciation of the word. Very slow. Spent about an hour there and of that maybe 20 minutes eating. The rest of the time was spent waiting and waiting and waiting. I won't go into details, it'll just make me sad and mad all over again. But suffice to say, as a visitor to Tucson Oro Valley area I won't be back to this place not would I recommend.

Website & menu looked wonderful. We were really looking forward to Italian food. This was our first visit. We sat outside & were immediately served garlic bread & water. We waited 20 minutes, no one acknowledged us. I went inside & told the hostess we were ready to order & had not seen a waiter. She and another person went to the kitchen to tell our waiter. I returned to our outside table where we then witnessed 1 waiter taking coffee to a table & right behind him another waiter with the deserts. Since when does it take 2 waiters to deliver coffee & desert to 1 table. Neither of these waiters glanced our way. We were invisible. 10 minutes after I notified the hostess we had no waiter, we got up & left. As we were walking away, we turned & looked behind us. 3 waiters were attending our now empty table. No one stopped us or offered apologies for the poor service. We drove down to Red Lobster, had an excellent meal & excellent service. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Delicious Italian food in the Southwest! Honestly, I am surprised it does not have a waiting list. This restaurant is a best kept secret in Tucson Arizona, it seems only locals would know to go here as I heard this family owned and operated. When food is an art and the ambience is classic Italian can't help but share even if it means there might be a waiting list in the future. Thank you for another lovely meal Giuseppe's, my cannelloni was creamy, filled with vegetables and chicken, a delight of soft flavors for my palate that I will definitely indulge in again!

A few standout things I noticed: appetizers and plate sizes are deliciously heaping and plentiful, and somewhat hidden that makes this place a gem. Will return very soon. Good food
