About

The Parish is a Southern-fusion gastropub. It draws its inspiration from Louisiana, Texas, Arizona comfort, cuisine, hospitality and community.

Story

The Parish’s fare and namesake are inspired by the culinary influences of its three owners – Steve Dunn, Travis Peters and Bryce Zeagler – that span from Louisiana to Texas to Arizona.

The menu is a tour of Southern goodness - from authentic gumbo and Gulf oysters to BBQ Adobo pork and shrimp & grits.

Drink selections include a variety of beers, signature cocktails and housemade infusions such as cucumber gin and vanilla bourbon. Happy hour drink specials are offered 3-6 p.m. daily as well as a new late night happy hour Friday and Saturday from 9pm to close.

We are very strongly committed to supporting the arts and features paintings by local artists as well as live music from some of Tucson's best bands, artists, and DJs.

We also hold very special events ranging from our annual Mardi gras celebration and St. Patricks day to art and charity events.

It is a quaint little restaurant. What it misses in size is more than made up with the great service. To top it off. The food is just outstanding. I had a wonderful trout, masterly prepared and those fries, the real thing. Darn near forgot to eat the trout, they were so good. My friend had the "drunken angel"(it was a song). I topped it with bread pudding, oh my. I had read reviews which said the restaurant was on the pricier side, not true. So many choices at 10-$12.00. My trout was $15.00. Brought some home. It will be supper. Just a great place with ample parking.

Well! What a wonderful restaurant. Nice people. Well lit. Neat, and, especially, wonderful food. We ate from the Lunch menu (opens at 11:00 a.m.), but the photo is of the dinner menu — which is the lunch menu plus. The gumbo was divine and the extra shrimp I asked them to add were cooked to perfection (not rubbery, very moist). My wife’s fish and chips were similarly wonderful. But, wonderful of all were the hush puppies! Wow! Next time we’ll try the crayfish hushpuppies too! And, not to be outdone, the bread pudding ... which we took home ... the photo is of the last few bites is great! Carmel rum sauce with a hint of cinnamon tops it off! Try it. You’ll like it!

Definitely a Southern experience. Pork rinds were light and fresh. Alabama Quail had authentic Carolina mustard sauce - tangy, savory and just plain good. Good atmosphere on a Tuesday night - not too busy and great service. Enjoyed it!

Great Sunday Eve country music. Love the smoked trout. Knowledgeable waiter was smart about cocktails' flavors. ...Only wish they had more fish entrees.

One of the tastiest meals I've had in a while. I had the Alabama Quail and my husband had Gumbo. I highly recommend the place and the food. It was also a treat that we were passing by Tucson and it was Friday so we got to listen to a bit of live music with our meal. Amazing atmosphere and service too.
