It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Just ok. Cheese curds and the French fries looked like they came out of a box. Chicken wings missed the snap from the deep fryer. The Polish and Chicago dog were fine. They aren't as good as they are at the source. Finally, my beer was served in a plastic cup like I was at a frat party. If someone else is buying, I'll go again. If it's my own money I'll go elsewhere and give them a shot.

I love their Chicago-style hotdogs! I lived in Chicago for four years and my mouth is watering right now as I started to write this sentence. I also love their Italian beef sandwiches. They are juicy and just on the precipice of moist on the bottom on the bread with a variety of just the right peppers. I really enjoy their pizza but if you are craving a top notch Chicago-style gourmet pizza, I am sorry, their pizza is more the late night craving variety. Perfect for ordering on New Year's eve, which is literally what I just did. Cheers and happy new year!

I'd say this is one of only one or two places in the Twin Cities where you can get real authentic Chicago-style steaks sandwich. The basic Philly steak sandwich served here with the spicy peppers and mozzarella is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The menu is simple and No Nonsense, and the prices are reasonable. The authenticity and quality of the sandwich simply can hardly be had in Minneapolis or Saint Paul.

Why is there not a line out the door?  This has been my favorite quick food place for 8+ years and it always astounds me when it's not packed when I go.  I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I will say this is THE place in St. Paul to get an Italian Beef or a Chicago Dog.
