Food is consistently amazing, samosas are a must, as seen in my photos I like to indulge. The lobster masala is great but so is the chicken tikka and all the other dishes I’ve tried. If you don’t truly handle spicy Id stick with mild for your meals!
I absolutely adore the service and food at Chimney Indian Kitchen + Bar! The flavors are authentic and the variety of foods are appreciated. I've dined at this particular restaurant on three different occasions and the food has been warm, delicious, and absolutely top quality. I very much recommend trying out the food here as everything from the taste, texture, atmosphere, and portion sizes are amazing! Prices are reasonable, and really you have nothing to lose by dining at Chimney Indian Kitchen! So far, I've had the non-vegetarian lunch special, mixed grill entree, and the tandoori salmon entree. Everything was perfectly cooked, the flavors were exquisite, and overall the service from Pravin was top-quality! I wanted to add this drink in the images I attached is amazing! Lovely flavors and presentation. The staff here, especially Pravin, are so nice and wonderful people! The atmosphere really is amazing here! Now, what are you waiting for! Go try this all out!
Everything was wonderful. Food was one of the best experiences I've ever had and pure art in a plate. I recommend everyone to come here atleats once. The atmosphere is peaceful and the waiter was respectful and nice. Me and my friends finished our plates in under 7 minutes. It was so great
I was in Chapel Hill for a meeting and decided to grab lunch before heading out of town. I wasn’t really looking for any specific type of restaurant. I parked and this restaurant caught my eye. I absolutely love Indian food and I’m so glad I found this place. The lunch menu has 2 options and there was also a traditional menu. I opted for the vegetarian lunch menu and a mango lassi. Everything I tasted was absolutely incredible. The ambiance was super chill, very upscale and inviting. The service was awesome as well. I can’t wait to go back!!!
The food was delicious! We ordered the lunch special and I'm so glad. It was a great way to sample a little of everything. I am not a "heat" eater, so I ordered the mild plate and it was perfect! I am new to Indian food and I really enjoyed my order. I'll be happy to return, if given the chance. Vegetarian options: Many options on the menu.
My experience here was truly remarkable. Pravin was my host and he was absolutely amazing. He made me a delicious drink that had an aroma I won't forget and the food was just like being back overseas. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for your hospitality. I truly appreciated every moment.
I’ve never had Indian food so my girlfriend and I decided to step inside to give it a try. I was stunned by the cleanliness and it just gives such a romantic, fancy aesthetic. The hostess was so nice and helped me choose the chicken tandoori from the menu. The food was amazing, the vibes were amazing and the price is fair for such a good meal. If you’ve never had Indian food I would definitely give the Chimney a try!
It was definitely great. Such a nice and well-served place with affordable price for lunch. I do love Indian food m, curries especially for my health and the taste which is good. You can choose your food spicy, medium or mellow. I chose it medium and it certainly was. It was my second visit and I still enjoyed the food. I can't stop my willness to visit here again. Chimney!
Outrageously fun cocktails... highly creative. The food was very good. Kids ordered samosas and some rice dishes with chicken although from my observations, I didn't see much chicken at all. I ordered curry shrimp and it was a tad on the bland side with what seemed like 3 lumps of shrimp. However, the service was excellent... the mixologist server used to work at a 5-star resort in Mumbai so he was great. Contemporary atmosphere near UNC Chapel Hill. Overall, had a great time and it's worth the experience. Maybe an off day with the curry. Still will go back again. Edit: Sister pictured. She lived in Delhi years ago and knows Indian cuisine. She loved this place Next time I'm in NC I will go back.
I came a few months back and service was okay. Decided to try it again and seems they're under new management now because it was outstanding this time. Shane goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. Love the asthetic of the place. Highly recommend trying it out!
