I love the vegan wings. The selection of sauces is amazing, and I always have a hard time choosing between the sweeter sauces and the hot sauces. Their second hottest sauce is killer. I haven't gathered the courage to try their hottest yet.
I usually do grub hub, today I took the drive. I ONLY buy the vegan wings. Not sure of the cleaning process for the real wings. Overall, it was good. Some of the reviews are #Shady, but I get it. 12 bucks for 7 wings... ouch lol . Oh well, TIME IS MONEY . Cheers
Came to Heavenly Buffaloes ahead of the UNC vs Wake basketball game. Wonderful and quick service, plus our waitress was very kind. First time here with my siblings and will definitely come back!
Nothing's write home about it's touching food; I came here because I thought it was vegan and while they have vegan options the waffle fries are good. Super fast service on a Sunday.
Excellent buffalo wings! Both medium and extra hot which is very hot!! Waffle fries are also delicious with ample portions. Recently they started serving at the tables as if this is a sit down restaurant this place is quite casual and in the past you just ordered at the counter. It's not necessary for this to be a sit-down and if you choose that, allocate a few extra bucks for tips.
Perfect location. I'm sure it gets crazy when all the college kids are in town, but we went mid-July. We were shocked 4 of us for lunch at the selection. My daughter is a vegan and they had something for her. My wife likes things with a twist so she got some sort of teriyaki glazed wings that were amazing. I just went for the straight heat and they did not disappoint. These are BIG drums, not like some places that give tiny ones.
So hungry I forgot to take pictures. The wings were good. I lived in Buffalo and trained on the wings at the Anchor Bar and Duffs so I have some street cred. Very meaty. I ordered medium but they were kind of mild. I'm not a huge spicy food fan but I think their hot would be a normal medium. Waffle fries were tasty. I got them dusted in bbq rub which was actually too much. Too salty. Try the garlic parm fries. My daughter had them and they were great.
Sweet potato fries were very soggy. Chicken was good but realistically paying 50 dollars for a 30 dollar meal I wish the quality of the delivery was better. Ordering from the website was cheaper than on DoorDash but the fees are a bit ridiculous.
HB is always fantastic. My teenage son’s favorite restaurant. I loved the Durham location, but the Chapel Hill one wins hands down. Big screens, beer on tap, AC and a nice patio right on Franklin.
Don’t go here if for food delivery. Employees will tell you “5 more minutes on your order” and after waiting 15 minutes for the food and asking for an update they will tell you to wait another 10-15 minutes. I understand being understaffed but don’t lie to get me to wait unnecessarily long at 30+ minutes when I can cancel the order and move on. Head cook/kitchen manager was rude when I tried explaining that being honest and telling me the actual wait time is better than lying to me about it.
