I have had surgery twice, performed by Dr Willkomm. The first time was an emergency ventral hernia repair, which was life threatening. The second was a gallbladder removal. I was relieved that Dr. W was able to perform the surgery, I felt comfortable with him, which is a major thing for me. (I have had very bad experiences with surgery in the past.). Dr. W and his staff are professional and wonderful. I highly recommend their office to everyone who needs great care.

I am a "snowbird" who was scheduled to fly home 5/17/17. On 5/11/17 I presented in the Venice ER with bad belly pain and after a CTT scan was diagnosed with an acute appendicitis. The ER Dr consulted Dr Willkomm who did a laparoscopic appendectomy. I have to add I am an RN used to knowing all the doctors in Erie, Pa. and who I'd trust with a knife! It was really scary to walk into an unknown, untried ER and put myself into the hands of an unknown. But I prayed before I left home for direction and to be guided into the right hands. I am so thankful it was Dr Willkomm who was there! This man has it all. He is knowledgeable, well trained and experienced. On top of his skill, he is compassionate and cares for people where they are. He is easy to talk with and wants to help. This is his heart. I wish anyone with a general surgical need to seek out Dr Chris Willkomm. His office is on Nokomis Street in Venice, close to the hospital. And by the way, I was on that plane back to Erie 6 days after surgery! Thank you Dr Willkomm.

Dr. Willkomm is an excellent doctor. He took the time to review my prior records, asked questions, conducted a thorough examination and offered alternatives to treat my symptoms. It is rare for a doctor to take the time that he did to help me through a difficult process.
