Dr Piscitelli happens to be my mothers Primary Care Doctor. Her lack of cooperation and the disdain of her staff in assisting to set up a 'Hospice' plan for my elderly 'terminal' mother leaves a lot to be desired. Her team, Instead of working towards a common purpose has advised my 'elderly father' to seek the information and have the order generated by her pulmonary doctor, stating they don't have any of the documentation. Geez, I thought that's what they make fax machines and other means of communications for. For her to 'pass the buck' like this leaves us in a void and dependent upon her Pulmonary Doctors availability. HELLO! Question of the day! What are the duties and responsibilities of a primary care doctor?
