Stay away from this dealership if you can!! I nearly purchased a vehicle with transmission issues from them. Went into the car dealership after reading some decent but average reviews on here but was really disappointed with what I experienced. The customer service at Chuck Olson Kia in Shoreline was beyond terrible to say the least. The lady receptionist did not acknowledge my presence nor make eye contact when I walked into the dealership as her eyes were glued to her iPhone until I tapped on her desk. The salesman assigned to me named Pat, could not answer basic questions regarding the vehicle I came for. While we were on a test drive, I asked him - Can you tell me a bit more about this vehicle and he rudely replied - What do you wanna know? - Wow..Okay! During the test drive, I observed the vehicle had issues switching gears and also jerked a few times when I sped past 40miles. I pointed this out to Pat and his answer was - 'Jeeps automatically switch gears in most cases'. All the answers he gave me didn't make any sense. He sounded pretty inexperienced and cocky. At the end of the test drive, I wanted to examine the car's exterior further but Pat wasn't having it as he kept asking me - Are you done? It appeared he was in a haste to sell the car and close the deal. I liked the car but offered $1000 less than their asking price and I got a huge No to my offer. I offered $500 less than the asking price and still got the same answer. It felt like they were not interested in negotiating with me nor selling the vehicle so I walked away. Well, today a friend of mine went back to the same dealership to check out the same vehicle and he found out that the vehicle I had test driven had a transmission issue. I guess the red flags I got from Pat the salesperson were signs from above not to do business with dishonest people. Glad I walked.

UPDATE: 03-Jan-2018 Updating my review for Chuck Olson service department. Had an excellent experience today having 12k service for my 2017 Volt. I think the key for my excellent experience was going through Todd as my service rep. Did exactly the service that was requested. Explained everything clearly on what was done and why oil change is not needed. There was no up-sell compared to my last experience (with different service rep). He even removed a thread sticking out from driver's seat. I walked away feeling amazed. Thanks Todd! prior review from Aug 2017 (with Daniel as service rep): This is a shocking reversal from my prior experiences. Had such excellent experiences in purchasing and servicing my 2017 Volt, that I looked forward to having my 2006 Suburban serviced. Brought Suburban in to have rear hatch lock fixed. Daniel was the service rep. When calling me with the estimate, said the actuator needed to be replaced quoted a price of around $700. Said he would knock off $100 for the part. Mentioned that they also recommended additional services giving priority to oil leaks, transmission leak that need to be done. And power steering leak could be managed by topping off and also wheels/tires need alignment. All for around $1500. I passed on the additional services. Approved only the actuator, was surprised by the $880 charge, means no part discount was given. Became very agitated once Les Schwab in Lynnwood found no need for alignment. Provided chart showing perfect alignment. Also checked the oil level, no loss, no leaks noticed in my garage. Means I have no confidence in the service rep's recommendation. Very disappointed as I so badly want to trust Chuck Olson chevrolet and now I cannot.

I stopped in on a rainy night to look at a Chevy Bolt. The sales reps were friendly, but they were quick to anti-sell electric vehicles in general (despite their electric vehicle being the only reason I had visited). I arrived in a Tesla and asked to see a Bolt, and yet the sales rep had plenty of negative things to say about electric vehicles, about Tesla, and even about Elon Musk (who was not in the room). The guy said "there's no market for EVs." Well, guess what: before I took home a Nissan Leaf four years ago, I had never even considered getting a new car. Fifteen year old used cars were fine. Now I'm now on my third brand new EV. I will never buy another old-fashioned gas car, and these guys just didn't get it.

How does a dealership sell a car full of sugar ants, rat fesces to a customer? Not to take the initiative to handle the problem after only having the car fir ONE DAY!!! Then, take advantage of seniors by not taking cash for full payment, but finance the car instead??!! The worst customer service I have ever heard in the 44 years I have been alive. Not taking care of a customer, not standing behind their product!! I will be spreading the word to a lot of people, cause social media works wonders.

I would love to thank GOG for his cratness for allow us to believe of what we were dreaming for so long now is coming true.thank to my sister Flora semeatu to introduce us to a group of people's that know what they doing.since this day over.we would like and love to thanks to CHUCK OLSON and the crew splecaly Mr JIMMY and his partner Mr FRANK.for y'all hard work get us the car that fit our budget well from us to you guys we don't have gold silver to pay what y'all have done for us we are speechless not enough words to thanks to you guys for everything y'all have done for us.today 12/21/2017 8:20 we will love to say marry Christmas and a very blessed New year.from us ABRAHAM and MALAEA my lovely wife thank you all. please our viewer check this place out.is what the Bible says you won't believe till you see what I see.. take care.
