Don't go here! They advertise a pool & a playground, but both were pathetic. The pool was full of leaves and cigarette butts, and when I asked if they could please clean it so the kids could swim they seemed bothered by the request. The water was also very cloudy. The bathrooms smelled horrible and from what I could see the people running it were sitting around at a picnic table and not trying to fix anything. On top of it, they overcharged us when our visa bill came through. Very disappointing! I give this place zero stars...Keep driving!

Arrived late but owner showed us a very nice room and we ordered up Indian Tacos for supper. Excellent food, friendly staff, nice accommodations, certainly FAR better than the Comfort Suites we stayed in last night at Waterloo, IA

This is a fine campground. It looks a little rough around the edges but come on your on the outskirts of the badlands. I get the feeling the elements can be a bit brutal in this neck of the woods. Showers and bathrooms clean and all recently painted. New roof on the building. Playground about to get a new playset. Pool looked clean although we did not swim. Picnic tables also recently painted. Shelters on many of the sites to protect tables from the elements. Like I said it looks a bit rundown but it's NOT. Everything works....the grass might not look like a country club but again this is the badlands. I loved it!

Potential.... But a lot of work to go! Owners call "Camp America" to get some input. We enjoyed our stay! I can't wait to see what has been improved in the next few years.

Just outside Badlands National Park. I-90 close by. Noise not too bad from Interstate. Adequate RV pull-thru. Sites are double astute, meaning under heavy use you will have neighbor awning very close to yours (shades of South Florida in winter). All services worked fine. Pool good. Bathhouse needed maintenance and cleaning. Appears to be new management as improvements to abandoned hotel/motel bldgs going on. New playground equipment on site, not assembled yet. Very nice overnight for exploring Badlands; especially, when FHU required (20/30/50A; W; S).
