We had a very good time on the campground. We were on the lower site, away from the street with a beautiful view in the green. We only had wifi when we walked to the reception but that didn't matter. The showers were a level higher and they were working perfectly. All in all very good.

As we pulled in at night we were greeted by a breathtaking view of rapid city. We came in after hours all our paperwork was on the office door as promised and we had no problem finding our site. The sites are tiered so everyone gets the view. The sites are big enough for our 40 foot rv, our car and space for sitting and enjoying the view.The staff is very nice and helpful. Location is perfect for seeing all the sites. It is a 5 minute drive to town and shopping, 25 min to monuments and parks, 25 minutes to Sturgis and less than an hour to deadwood and the badlands. The owners are new and working to fix the place up. You can tell they are very dedicated to making this an amazing experience.

Spent one night here in a tent site. Beautiful view of the city. Bathrooms were well-kept and the staff was nice. Owner showed us around personally. A little cramped and our picnic table was showing its age. Would definitely stay at a tent site here again.

We are typically state park/ national forest campers so it is hard to review an RV park that provides such a different experience from what we are used to. That being said, Rapid City RV Park & Campground was great! The owners are lovely, kind people who work hard from sunrise to sunset each day. The views from our site were breathtaking. The sites were close, which we expected in this type of setting. Wifi is slow during peak hours of the day, but speeds up early in the morning and later at night. While we were there they had problems with a water leak. The owners came around and knocked on our door to let us know what was going on. The next day things were a bit worse than they had thought and they had to do some major repairs. They kept us informed every step of the way. One day, while we were touring Devil's Tower, we got a phone call from the owner. It was an extremely hot day and they had lost power. They checked all of their guests who had pets and called them to see if there was anything they could do for animals inside of campers without electricity. Our dog was at a local kennel, but I was impressed by the compassion and extra effort. The swimming pool was wonderful, the bathrooms were being updated and were very nice. It is obvious that the owners are working hard to make this place shine bright, and we would be happy to stay there again.

Nice people, great view and clean facilities. $45 for 7 people is an awesome deal. A little tight but not too tight. Would stay again.
