My dog and I bike in Lee Martinez Park all the time, great trails and the river make it a favorite stop. Tonight I needed to pump my tires and thought "why don't I use the tools at the stand in the park?" cause I live in a cool community where we make stuff like that available for one another. So we biked on down to the park and went to use the tools. Unfortunately the nozzle I needed was misfiring. But lo and behold! Some friendly Park Rangers, (Francis and his son--sorry, I didn't get your name, Little Guy), offered to help me out. We were at it a bit, and honestly my tires left a little lower than they rolled in, but the guys were so kind and helpful (and even gave me a bike light--leftover swag from the event that brought them to that area) that they earned the night at the park a five-star rating!

413 S Bryan Av is the address of the Forestry Division. Back in May, my family was told that the trees in our right of way were to be pruned by the end of the month. 4.5 months later, Del Bernhardt's department proved to be a department of liars and borderline thieves of city resources.

The parks appear to be in good condition. The trails are nice, kept up and in good condition. However, there are area's on the cement trails, that are cracked pretty bad. The trash, in area's along, and in, Spring Creek is very bad. Which includes plastic bottles and etc. This is not good for the habitat like ducks and geese.

I've been walking city park for 3 years and it looks wonderful this year... I am happy to have met Rusty on the boardwalk and look forward to running into her daily...My dog Sadie thinks she walks on water, so do I...Thank you for the little bit of Heaven right where I live...
