Not sure why people are complaining...maybe it's an old issue. Everyone was extremely kind, I checked in with my scheduled appointment no problem, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Kudos!

My experience here was great. We booked an appointment for my wife and I (because we just moved to Fort Collins). We could not get appointments at the same time (but were separated by 30 minutes), but they still managed to see us both in sequence. The only hiccup was when I smiled (with teeth) in my picture and no one said anything. I then heard when they did my wife's picture that she was asked not to show teeth. I asked them about this and the first person said I might need to come back; he then checked with the manager who said that I'd be fine. All in all, a pleasant experience -- although I would recommend getting an appointment.

C'mon people it's the DMV. They are dealing with an approximately extra 3 million people from Denver to Fort Collins. It's an influx this state hasn't seen... Ever. Understandably a rude person is rude, but imagine the patience it would take to do their job. Also, they're not selling you anything. They HAVE to be there because you are not. Somebody has to do that job, and those that function with enthusiasm and verve are definitely better to deal with, but what about you? Are you happy every day at work? Do you regularly get your hide chewed cuz somebody showed up to your work unprepared to deal with you (at your own job!)? Communication can be hard with anyone. Why don't you try putting on a smile BEFORE you walk in. Try being RESPECTFUL to everyone you see there including the other grumpy clients. Maybe you could make a friend if you just said hi to the person next to you. Heck, the wait would go by pretty quick if you looked up from your phone more than a second or two and made eye contact. Or bring a dang book. But seriously compared to California, this DMV is a cakewalk. Sorry for the people who work there that don't enjoy their jobs. But it is not your problem. Kindness patience and love. We all want it, so try to give some. The results are great!

Most of the employees there are super nice and helpful. The old woman with grey hair, glasses, and the annoying voice. She is horrible and mean and rude as hell.

When I arrived at the DMV I should have realized I would have my time wasted. First of all, the gentleman I worked with was quite rude, abrupt and not much help in figuring out my next step being as I’m new to the state. Appreciate all the “glorious help” I received here.
