Not thrilled! I don't even believe it was ck ! Hand written receipt! Card was different name. Wanted cash! 15 minutes! &245 ! Did not replace set screws missing or tighten loose handle! I'n a big hurry! At the shop they made me a key that didn't work , and they sit and watch Fox News!

First it was nice to find a locksmith with a physical store location. Gives you the option if you really don't need or want to pay for a service call. Staff was courteous and professional and provided an accurate estimate for what I needed done. Their quote was the best of the several places I called. In the end my bill was less than what they quoted me. How often can you say that? So if your looking for a locksmith I'd say look no further.

Sorry for the less than favorable review, but the truth hurts. Scenario: 1999 Ford Ranger. It needs transponder keys (system type C) to start. CK insisted they had to "program" the truck, and/or keys for this to work. I told them, no... I have two working keys, so I can program my own, in the truck, as its a user function that the truck does, when you have two working (non-cloned) keys. CK insisted, and insisted again, that I was wrong. And... they had my keys. I wanted my keys back. No, they said, I was wrong that that was that. Keys please? MY KEYS? A HALF HOUR LATER, after bitching for my keys back, I got 'em back. Jeeze. And, they wanted $80 per key. Well here's the secret friends. I got two keys from Amazon for $7.50 each (free shipping with orders over $35.00). I took them to LOWES in Boynton, who cut the keys at no cost to me, as a customer service, and would not even accept a tip. I went into my truck and programed what CK would have charged me $160, plus tax for ... in about 3 minutes (using a 1 minute wait time before trying to start the truck with the new key, as suggested online). If Amazon sells them, at a profit, for $7.50, I know CK pays less than that for 'em. I would have paid $15, maybe $20 each locally, but not $80. So, I guess its the "gotcha over a barrel" speech they roll out. Not for this savvy truck owner. BEWARE and do your research!
