It was advertised that there was a pool, a bar, a nice restaurant, and overall a nice place to stay. The pool was never opened. The food was overpriced. The food was also the kind of thing that I could get at Denny's for $8 instead of $20 and it would taste better. None of the drink vending machines worked. The ceiling on one of the floors was falling apart. There were cobwebs. The railings for the small balconies were totally bent. There was a floor that smelled like straight up cat urine. There was a car with 3 kittens locked inside. There was little to no air for them. No water. We asked and complained numerous times and the hotel did nothing about it. Those cars had bean in there for 3 or 4 days. Maybe even more. Obviously the hotel doesn't care because they did absolutely nothing about it. Honestly guys don't stay here

Awesome bed, lots of space, big balcony was a huge plus, very luxurious for the price. Lovely staff. They need to work on their key cards...wouldn't work several times.

They completely screwed us.  They let me reserve a room, telling me they were dog friendly, even confirming they were dog friendly on the confirmation email. Then when we tried to check in at 6:45 pm after a very long and exhausting day, they told us the room I reserved was not a "dog friendly room". They were completely booked, as was the rest of the entire city of Richmond, and we had no place to stay. Unbelievable. If you have pets do not go here.

The only reason I give this one star is because there is no "0" stars. Only stay here to save money or if you are desperate. The beds are horrible. They are way too hard. The bed linens are worn & torn. The room wasn't clean. The privacy drape was broken, so we had very early morning light. Handicapped room was only an afterthought - not nearly well enough equipped. Everything was shabby. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel was awful.  The security was not adequate by any means.  Several rooms on your floor were having parties all night, coming and going traffic, yelling and a baby screaming in the hallway.  It reminded me of a bad movie.  

The constant flow of traffic and the main floor door being broken, no doubt there was drug dealing taking place.  I haven't smoked weed in years, but if you want to get a contact high walk around and it will be easy to find a place to score.  

The hotel hallway reeks of an awful smell, not sure what, probably not cleaner.  Hotel says it has a restaurant, however it was closed and only offered wraps and a small bar.  I do not recommend this place to stay
