I used to really enjoy this hotel, and have stayed at this comfort suites quite a few times. This last time I stayed at this hotel a few days ago things didn't go as well, I was checked in and got a room that wasn't updated like most of the rooms they have and I have stayed in but I didn't want to complain as it wasn't bad. The next morning I packed my stuff up with my guest and left about 10 am leaving the card on the counter and asking the the lady if I was good to go and I was. Later that day I see a extra charge from comfort suites of 120.00 and when I called to see what was going on the manager had no clue and said she needed to talk to the maid who had cleaned my room and give me a back, and she did to say it was a smoking fee and being a non smoker I explained that to her, she goes to say her maid would not make that up and I was wrong. Being a rewards member here and have stayed quite a few times I've never been accused of smoking or being a liar. So I told her I was just going to dispute it with the bank and hung up the phone. As the charge is still pending I have to wait but I log on to my account on the third day and see they charged me another 250 with no description of why or no receipt. I have called to ask for corporate and there's no phone number to reach them?? I will never ever stay here again, and will let anyone I know to not let this happen to them!

We loved the lady who ran the desk Saturday and Sunday night, we believe her name is Melanie, she was kind and a very good host!! We loved the suite, there was plenty of room for the kids on the pull out couch, a tv in each area to relax. The beds were clean and cozy, clean bathroom and totally worth a little extra money to keep everyone happy. It's north of Richmond and that was nice not to have to drive in or around the city. There's plenty of places to eat near by and shopping if need be. We had a Great time and that's do to all of their hard working employees. My Dad left his favorite pillow and they still had it. I can tell you that this place is very family friendly and would recommend staying there.

Beautiful, updated hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful. Quiet location. Breakfast bar well cared for. Huge fish tank very enjoyable while eating breakfast. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to amount of dust on hardwood floor, intake vents in our suite. As a owner of my own cleaning business I understand if you don't have adequate staff to fill positions everyday. But it is the supervisors responsibility to be checking all areas on a rotating basis. Highly recommend this hotel for all travelers.

What a wonderful place to stay! Ample parking, super clean rooms, delicious hot or cold breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, juices, coffee, etc., and sausage gravy with fresh baked biscuits on Sunday. The only thing that would have improved our visit would have been a small sink in the kitchenette. My highest recommendation !

This is my default place to stay when I'm in the area. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Only issue I have is that the fitness room is closed in the mornings. Never seen that anywhere else. I don't understand the point of denying guests their morning workout.
