The lobby is very inviting. The decor is very business oriented and at the same time comfortable. The front desk staff were sincerely friendly and helpful. Our room was was clean, clean, clean. I sleep best when the room is dark and those blackout curtains helped made for a very restful night. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommended this hotel.

We had to deal with front desk to drop somethings off for someone staying at the hotel. The Night Time Auditor was very nice along with the Manager!!! Very nice people and I would definitely stay there if I was in town!!!. They were very helpful and had a great conversation with them......... I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in town!!!

Awesome!! They had everything ready when we arrived. Not the closest hotel to VCU but the commute wasn't that far away even in traffic. Food and shopping within walking distance. Check them out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Really good accommodations. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The staff was friendly and efficient. Thanks goes out to Daniel for helping me while I was driving and had to make last minute arrangements while traveling.

The hotel was very clean, relaxing, and peaceful. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on an employee rate, but because I was on a discounted rate, some of the front desk service were very nasty to me. I stayed for a total of about 2 weeks. On the last day I stayed there, I had an interview that morning and was counting on my original option that I've had every other day to stay until 1:30 for late checkout. That morning, (before the 10 o'clock checkout) I called the front desk and an employee named Theresa told me that because I was not a rewards member I could not have a late checkout surpassing 12 o'clock. Theresa was also rude to me when I checked in saying that she couldn't give me the rate I received because it is only for rewards members... even though I had a physical reservation in my hand. I left at 12 as she asked, but I did not pick up my $100 deposit available for pickup because my Mother paid cash for the room because the room was in my Mother's name. Allie, the AGM proceeds to continue in the front desk employee's poor customer service and calls the contact number (which is my Mom). The conversation consisted of the manger being rude to my Mom and saying that she needs to come and get her stuff before they put it out. Keep in mind, I was the one staying in the room at the time and out of frustration had packed up and left possibly even before 12 o'clock. She called my mother at 1:30. I have never worked in customer service but I know certain jobs won't hire people that are actually empathetically fit for jobs like that because they don't have the appearance. However, some of the employees at that Courtyard Marriott were so incredibly rude that I wonder if they even value all customers at all? As a hotel that I'm sure desires to always reach higher ratings, you all need to value all customers the same. This courtyard will not have anymore of my money.
