"Clark Street was founded in 2014 by Zack Hall out of his apartment in West Hollywood, CA. After spending the summer at his wife's family's town working in a wood-fired bakery in the Swedish countryside and falling in love with the craft, Hall returned home to become a full-time bread baker.Starting out in his apartment on Clark Street, hence the name, Halls' passion for bread making grew. First delivering his bread to West Hollywood institution Lindy & Grundy butcher shop, it didn’t take long for word to spread. In 2015 Hall moved out from his home kitchen and took up shop in Grand Central Market in Downtown LA. Today, Clark Street has four locations in Los Angeles."

Happened to stumble upon this place and couldn't be happier. We got the breakfast sandwich and they were fresh, sumptuous and filling very good portion size. Very fresh ingredients, toasted bread and very balanced flavors. Also very cute interiors, dog friendly.
I only give it four stars because I don't necessarily love love their coffee, but they have good pastries and a good breakfast sandwich and good bagels. The prices are pretty standard for LA - two regular coffees plus the breakfast sandwich plus a bagel came out to about $33 plus tip. The bagel that you see in the photo is the loaded bagel without the lox. I didn't feel like lox that day, so I specially ordered it. I love it because the cucumbers are so fresh and crisp.
Pain aux raisins was crisp and buttery, yum! Swedish vanilla bean roll was a sweet cardamom delight though the vanilla bean got lost in the complex flavor. Great service too. Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.
I came for a menu and left with a beautiful country loaf. The staff at this new location is super warm and friendly. The wall rack was stacked with a variety of different loaves and baguettes. There is also an assortment of wonderful looking pastries and a simple menu of sandwiches and more. The staff member shared that the country loaf sells out so I ordered it. It's nutty with an amazing crust it perfect with a little butter or cheese. A great addition to the neighborhood.
This is the bakery to go to when in Brentwood. All of the pastries are tasty! General manager Ross is well organized making sure that every guest is served promptly and accurately. For a welcome change, pair a tasty pastry with their coffee which is super smooth and satisfying. Izzy and the friendly staff keep the customer service warm and inviting for all who choose the experience that is Clark Street. Zach the owner is a pleasure and always willing to meet a customers needs. I highly recommend. Clark Street in Brentwood is a must try!
High quality, fresh baked goods! The mini sourdough loaves were insanely delicious. The bakery itself has a very modern and hip vibe. You will find me here on a weekly basis.
Great food and bread, but the service is very poor. They never have your food ready on time and make you wait an additional 15 mins or so. They need improve this - would recommend still but don’t expect them to be timely.
Fantastic customer service from the entire staff. Friendly and absolutely went above and beyond even though they were about to close. Thank you Clark Street team. Chicken salad sandwich was good. btw

Freshly baked bread bagels and pastries thoughtfully sourced and put together If you want your breakfast to taste good, don't think about it, just go here. Order earlier rather than later though, this place gets BUSY for a good reason obviously EDIT: sadly have to edit this review with a WARNING: If you do visit this place and "Shawn" is the manager for the day, please be advised that he will NOT help you and will instead be rude and dismissive...i order from this place about twice a week, but when the mobile app had an issue and wouldnt let me order cream cheese on a bagel, Shawn repeatedly refused to simply add the 5 cents of cream cheese on the bagel. decided to just tell me it just wasnt happening, and even refused to take payment over the phone to pay for the cream cheese. it was the type of terrible customer experience that sadly makes me think twice of ordering from here again
