I used to come here every Sunday with my family. Customer service has really gone down the drain. I asked for ketchup and waited until my food got cold and went and got it myself. Bagel was suppose to be scooped and was not. Bagel came out not toasted is was kind of cold. Food quality isn’t the same as before.
Best bagels in West LA, no doubt about it! I go here every weekend and the food is consistently great and the prices are fair. It’s definitely more of an old-school breakfast diner, which I think anyone sick of the overpriced “quirky” restaurants in LA can appreciate. Beyond those factors, the people who work here are a big part of the reason that I keep going back! There’s other decent breakfast places nearby, but the brief conversations I have here with the staff always make my mornings a little bit better. Don’t pick the other breakfast place you were thinking of going to!
Great food and service... gotta tip the staff cuz they are awesome... take home some lox...i heard that tarantino wrote pulp fiction while sitting there.... not sure if that 100% accurate..prolly 95%
Not from L.A. but had to go there for a meeting. After driving through L.A. traffic I needed some caffeine and food. I stopped at the first place I saw that had breakfast and was far from disappointed. A small restaurant with friendly staff and well prepared food.
I thoroughly recommend this place if you and your family are looking for a delicious breakfast get together. Very satisfied, and I will be buying again.
Very good service and variety on menu! Bagles are good! Some things are overpriced, but overall experience was wonderful
Let me save you the trip ….really lacking presentation. This is a butchering of the bagel experience. Stay away. First and last.
Major health concern: I ordered a plain bagel this morning for my kid. When we got to the car, I opened the bag to find a cheese bagel with cream cheese. I wrapped it back up and walked back the store to get the bagel I had ordered. The young man behind the counter came forward and handed me another bag and took the one I was holding. At that point, I expected the one I had opened and handled to be placed in the trash can. Instead a middle aged lady, who appeared to be the owner, took the bag from him, went behind the counter for 10 seconds, came back out with the bag and handed it over to the patron who had been waiting for that order! Fortunately, I had sanitized my hand right before handling the bag and wasn’t sick, but there’s a real possibility that it could’ve been otherwise. I’m never returning to this place as I can’t be sure that other similar or worse things are not happening in the back of the house.
A no frills place, with good bagels, service, and outdoor seating.
Came here to order bagels to go. As we waited we decided it’d be nice to just sit there and eat. However when we asked if we could sit at a table the waitress was incredibly rude and explained to us the definition of getting food to go. And we apologized and explained that after standing out there we wanted to eat out there. And we found a table, there was no wait/anyone else waiting for a table. After the waitress was really rude to us she went in and had the manager come out and explained that we couldn’t stay and gave us our food and asked us to leave. We also wanted to get coffee And was forced to order that to go. I get that it was a little inconvenient but to refuse to seat us and let us get a coffee there and eat their food their seems a little odd. The waitress was also just super rude right off the bat.
