Customer service (IMO) is just about treating customers how you would want to be treated. Clarks (or at least the people at this store) is not customer service oriented. They have the mindset that once the sale is complete they don't really want to help you or hear from you again. Case in point: I bought boots from Clarks 3 months ago. The shoe laces broke apart (I've never had that happen on a shoe ever). So i go into the store, bring my receipt, figure it will be a quick replacement. But no, the store pushes back and says that the laces are not covered under any warranty, there's nothing they can do and that I can go by my own. Now of course buying a $5 pair of shoe laces isn't going to make or break me thankfully, but its the principle of the matter. I need shoe laces to wear my shoes, so if they break (especially that fast) they should be covered, its not like I went in about some slight speck of discoloration and demanded the royal treatment lol. All they had to say was "hey listen this isn't covered, but we're going to help you out, whatever it costs you to buy the laces we'll give you a store credit for that", that's easy and I think very reasonable. They honestly could have saved themselves this crappy review by providing me a pair of laces, which probably costs them pennies to make. I've seen other comments on google reviews from other customers who have stated the staff there is unfriendly/unhelpful, well I can tell you they are correct. The whole situation just left a bad taste in my mouth and its unfortunate because Clarks usually makes great shoes. They just need to update their warranties to include laces, and train their staff to be a little friendlier and more helpful. UPDATE: Clarks Corporate was super helpful and later on gave me more than I was asking for: they refunded my entire purchase amount. So I can say I'm very happy with corporate, but my rating for this store will not change.

This is my second year purchasing shoes at this store. The shoes are affordable compare to other brands that are pricy but poor quality. Also, the store is clean and has good incentives to encourage you to come back. If, they don't have the shoe at the moment they will ship it to your house for free and that is cool!. I recommend this store

Just was in there to try on shoes and had a weird employee vibe. Was pretty empty and no one asked if I needed help finding anything etc... I tried on one pair and they didn't have the other size so I left. No one helped at all. When I called this store earlier to see if they had slip-ons the person who answered was also very rude. I'm not going to go back, dsw carries clarks and has friendly employees who help you do just go there instead.

Helpful staff and great selection of new and clearance-bound products! Look out for special sales that you can't get online.
