Clear Lake Cottages & Marina (formerly Lake Escape Resort) is the premier resort destination for bass fishing enthusiasts, business travelers or families looking to enjoy a Clearlake vacation. Our newly renovated lake cottage rentals have modern furnishings, air conditioning, designer linens, plush towels, flat screen TVs and select cottages feature full kitchens.

Clear Lake Cottages and Marina is the perfect launching point for enjoying a wine country vacation, boating or participating in one of our several local and national bass fishing tournaments. The place is very nice in a pretty setting. Everyone is very nice! The only negatives, the bed felt like it was tilting down hill, and the television would turn off after about 2 hours. Both easy fixes so I don't think it's a big deal. They have some cottages that are right on the lake with great views! They have a nice outdoor barbecue area and a boat launching ramp!

The first portion of our stay went great. Good customer service and clean room. However when we tried to check in for the second portion of our stay we were given the runaround for over 4 hours from Bob in the office. We called ahead and asked for early check in and were told we'd have our room cleaned first thing so that we'd be able to get settled. When we arrived, he seemed to have no recollection of speaking with us or taking our information to call as soon as the room was ready. We went out for lunch, killed time and returned to the property around 2 hoping they'd just forgotten to call. Our room still had not been cleaned after another hour and a half just waiting on property. There seems to be no organization from the management of this property. I would strongly advise against visiting during busy weekends as management does not seem to have the systems in place necessary to accommodate their guests.

This was a lovely place to stay. The cottages we're all clean and affordably priced. The view of the lake was stunning. We enjoyed a little time in the pool too. Overall this was a very nice place to stay with very friendly staff!

Nothing short of outstanding. And I dont say that lightly. Rooms were perfectly clean and awesome for the price. Ground is very very very clean and well kept. The owner is the nicest guy in the world. He comes around and does everything in his power to make sure everyone is having a great time. He came by and told me where the fish are biting, what they are biting on, gave me a lure to try, and offered me a bottle of wine if I catch a bass. The staff was able to point me to some good restaurants near by and local hot spots. I will definitely be back here.

Hands down the BEST hotel on Clear Lake!!! Seriously awesome service and friendly staff! Initially, I searched around because this was a little more expensive, but let me say, the extra is TOTALLY WORTH IT! The rooms are so nice, clean, and clearly well maintained. This was the only hotel in the area with a floating dock that made getting in the water an absolute breeze.
