A comfortable and clean hotel with a delicious breakfast.   They were out of the lox for 3 out of the 5 mornings I was there.  I wish the staff would take away the dirty dishes quickly after guests finish.  The grounds are gorgeous. It would have been nice to have a tv in my room.  The staff varied in knowledge and availability.  I would happily stay there again.

Very nice rooms and amenities. Cool decor, peaceful stay with quiet park atmosphere. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and convenient dining options.

The room was cozy, and the bed was large and comfortable. The dinner we had at the Farm House next door was one of the best meals I've had in a while, and the garden behind our room was gorgeous. We wished there were refrigerators in the room so we could have bought more of the local cheese, and the current construction certainly detracted from our experience, but the work that is being done looks beautiful and we can't wait to come back after May of 2017 to see it in all it's glory.

I think you will like stopping here for a bite, a drink or an over night stay. Great stop when on CA 1.

I have stayed at The Lodge a couple times now. The gardens are beautiful and have great access to hiking in the national park. The breakfast was delicious and included with our room. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for what do to while there for the weekend. Will definitely be going again soon!
