Love this zoo!!! it's got to be my favorite Zoo the best one that we've ever gone to. we haven't gone to that many we've only gone to like six others but like I said this is my favorite. it's huge! it's got a really nice variety of animals. it's been a while since we've gone there I think that they had like a play area for the kids while the parents arrested or something small but I mean it was neat. I thought the aquarium was really nice. the rain forest area was totally awesome. my husband and I got there right at 9 when they open and we barely got to see everything by the time that they close at 5.

I've been to 20 plus zoos across the USA but in my opinion this zoo is one of the best ...if not the best! So much to do and see! I recommend spending at least a half hour feeding the birds in the Australian adventure! Visit the tigers when the zoo first opens and you'll get to see them wander their habitat for snacks! Go through the hospital to really appreciate the care given to the animals! This is a two day experience of you really want to see every animal and do everything. I've gone nearly every week since I 2 years old ...I'm 24 now and still enjoy visiting! There's always staff on hand to tell you more about the animals...and everyone working there is amazing! Even volunteers! There is so much for every and any age to enjoy here year round! Parking is free! And if you visit the zoo you HAVE to buy the rainforest as well! Go see the baby otters and hang out with the family of orangutans!

What a wonderful zoo! We visited on a unseasonably cold April day - 35° and we were surprised there was still so much to see outside as well as indoors. The animals were so active! We had a little trouble navigating the pathways to the exhibits and had to back track some, but overall it was a fantastic visit. Would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful Zoo, wonderful people. I could be biased due to me having multiple positions there (both paid and unpaid), but either way it's a zoo I've been going to since I was very very young, and will continue to go to for (hopefully) forever. They have such caring zookeepers and staff, and they're always ready to help patrons. They also care so much about their animals and do intensive work to make sure each animal is happy and healthy.

This zoo is located in the middle of Cleveland. The layout of the zoo due to it location was challenging. The zoo while not particularly large required a tram to easily access some of its exhibits. There is a really nice variety of salt water fish on display. The primates exhibit was slightly on the small side. The elephant and tiger where both well done and very informative. A section of the tiger exhibit is designed to allow you to get very close to them.
