We've mostly only gone during special events (Chinese lanterns and Christmas lights), but even during those cold and crowded times, this zoo has been very enjoyable. It is easy to navigate, there is lots to see, and all of the staff have been friendly and inviting. I love that there is a special nursing room! My baby and I were both relaxed and comfortable while she nursed. Our extended family are members and have been going for years, and if we lived a little closer, we would certainly go more often as well. This is a great place for Toledo area families to spend a day together.

The zoo is one of the greatest treasures of the area! Top rated in the nation, the zoo is a must do! We go very often by way of our zoo membership (well worth buying!). Many animals, train ride around the Savannah, Carousel Ride, play grounds, kid activity area, and a splash pad in summer. Several little kiosks and a very big main shop. Places to eat, and tables for you to eat if you bring your own lunch.

One of the Best zoo in the country. Their Aquarium is amazing, allowed to touch fish, take star fish in hands, never experienced this before. Feeding the Giraffe should be little cheaper. Last year they had a polar bear baby in the same place with the polar bear which kept the Bear very active. But during our recent visit it was only the polar Bear, it’s still a great watch.

I absolutely love the Toledo Zoo!! It's great in the summer/spring/fall (doing typical zoo stuff, walking around and seeing all the animals), but what really makes it amazing is that it is also just as fun in the winter!! There are enough indoor spaces (aquarium, aviary, indoor viewing areas) that you do not have to be out in the cold all day! Add in the beautiful amphitheatre and you've got yourself a top notch zoo!!

The Toledo zoo is one of our favorites! It has an excellent layout: when you exit an exhibit you're usually at the entrance of the next. The aquarium has been recently renovated and is absolutely fantastic! We also love seeing live music at the amphitheatre during their summer concert series! It really is all happening at the zoo!
