Perfect setting for the sunset themed, quintessential St. George patio dining experience. The outside veranda is the place to be - warm breezes, stunning views of radiant red and ochre valley mountains, sandstone formations, and a view of the city with the St. George temple as a prominent marker. We have dined here several times and for the most part, come away pleased after each dining experience. Some of the dishes are expensive - be prepared to pay a high $ / oz cost per plate. Quality is generally good; at times, menu items have been out of stock or not up to quality expected for the locale. Overall, though, we really love Cliffside for the eating and dining experience.

I have recently moved and permanently relocated to the St. George, Utah area. I eat out most of the time because I can barely spell "cook" let alone make it happen! Before moving here, I Googled and researched various local restaurants that looked appealing. With the exception of a slight few, there are some great restaurants that are "must try" places to dine at. One of these restaurants that meets all the criteria is "The Cliffside Restaurant!" Whether you live in the area, or are just passing through, you will not be disappointed in dining in this one-of-a-kind establishment! The restaurant itself sits on a cliff overlooking the entire city of St. George, and the view is unsurpassed! Now for the menu! They cover all the bases from great Appetizers to Steak, Chicken, Seafood, and Pasta, and of course tasty Salad and Soup options! Something for everyone! The starter to begin with is the fresh, hot loaf of bakery fresh bread and homemade whipped butter! Nothing better!! After all of this, be sure and save room for dessert! My favorite is the "Molten Lava Chocolate Cake" with a creamy warm chocolate center! It's as good as it gets, that I can assure you! You will not be disappointed!

Good but not great for the money. But because of the size of our group, maybe that made a difference in the quality of service as it was definitely lacking for that level of cost. Food was good but not the knock your socks off meal. I'm likely to try it again but a more intimate setting with just me and my wife rather than a large group again.

Excellent food, service and Oh the View! Large group of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Great appetizers and dessert too. I had the trout and it was fabulous.

Great food that is surpassed only by the views. Restraunt has all glass back with views on the highest point of St. George overlooking the entire valley. A great place to take that special someone in your life or to celebrate a special occasion. Be sure to make a reservation at a time you can watch the desert sunsets. These views have been well documented in various gastronomy publications. If your traveling in to St. George you should consider getting a room at the adjoining hotel that owns the restaurant as the rooms have the same views. Enjoy a good meal, some good wine and then forget the need to get a cab, stay the night. It will be an experience you will want to not only remember, but to repeat year after year.
