I had heard awful things about consigning at this store, but there really are NO good consignment options around, so decided to check it out for myself. I took in 10 pairs of classic (ie timeless) pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 sweaters, one sleeveless top. I was confident in 12 of the 15 items; style is current, excellent condition. One item I was not sure of and the other two were complete decoys -- outdated style, definite signs of wear. I just wanted to see what would happen. After waiting 10 minutes more than I was told to wait (40 minutes total), the clerk began checking my items. She took less than 5 minutes to go thru my pile. Refused ALL but the two decoy items!! I was shocked, but find this hilarious! Absolutely no reason behind what they will accept, completely up to discretion of clerk. During my wait, I went through many of the racks -- found clothes that were stained, dirty, old, disgusting (don't look at the shoes if you have a weak stomach). The only plus is that the prices are great for the clothes worth buying. We need better consignment options in our area!!

I  was visiting my cousin in North Carolina  and she took me to Clothes Mentor. I love this store. I was disappointed because  I searched the closest one in my area (Georgia). It's  3 hours away from me. I plan to locate one of your shops.

I went into this business for the very first time today. Had done some research and read a few reviews about the business itself and the customer interactions. Some reviews were good and some were quite bad. Not knowing what to expect, I decided to go today. I went in without my items just to scope things out and get a feel for the staff. I was greeted immediately upon entering. I went to the counter where I met Natalie. She explained to me the selling process and encouraged me with a smile I might add,  to bring in my items.  I brought in the items as she further explained the determination for pricing. I'm not sure who worked in this store on previous customer visits but Natalie was awesome! She was my first impression and last impression of this business and I am so impressed at her attitude, her kindness, and how she made me so comfortable with my first visit there.  She was so kind and easy to speak with! She was full of smiles and overall friendliness. I could  not have asked for a better shopping experience! Because of Natalie and the neatness of the store,  I will definitely be back! She made my experience great!  (The other young lady there with glasses was just as friendly) Thank you Natalie!
