We came back after 8 years and it doesn't look like there has been any improvements or much in the way of maintenance. The impression is this KOA is struggling and the location is probably why. It is in beautiful surroundings but not an easy drive from the highway for a big rig. We stayed at two KOAs on this trip and the other one was busy while this one was mostly deserted except for construction workers that were using it as a temporary home while working on a nearby job. Not a good sign.

Avoid at all costs! Website boasts "clean air" most of the days of the year, but with hundreds of campfires, the smoke is unbearable. We rented a cabin near the lake. VERY noisy. Worst camping experience in years. Large family rented the one next to us and were allowed an additional tent set-up next to the cabin. Played loud music all day and into the evening. In the cabin on the other side the occupants opened all their doors of their pick-up truck and played load music. It was as if the two were trying to drown out each other. Again - this went on all day and into the evening. They have a policy to keep noise levels low so that people can't hear you beyond their campsite, but there is absolutely NO enforcement. They should ban all amplified music. You go to enjoy nature and have to listen to latin music overlaid with country rock - so much for the "cricket and frog" concerts highlighted on the website. Very ghetto.

Very nice place, scenic and secluded camp sites. Pool is wonderful, play ground clean and fun. Napa Valley is beautiful and simply amazing sunsets. Nice little town near by great supplies and pizza joint

Great little campground. Only complaint is our 30 amp rv spot kept switching the breaker with just the a.c. on. This does not even happen at our normal camp ground on 20 amp service. We had to use the unoccupied neighbors box for our electric.

This was our first time camping at a KOA facility. We were content with our overall experience. The location was surrounded by beautiful wineries, which we could see from the porch of our cabin (Kingfisher). The cabin itself was very spacious and cozy with a swing on the front porch. There was plenty of space between each cabin, allowing our children to play freely. Each site was equipped with a covered picnic table, a fire pit, a BBQ pit, and a water spigot–making it easy to travel light. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water! The staff was friendly, courteous, and flexible. The property was in good condition–there were a few improvements that could be made: 1. The swimming pool was not heated as advertised–we could see the solar system, but the pool was freezing. The pool / spa was clear, but needed to be skimmed and vacuumed. The pool furniture was weathered. 2. The Put-Put was not maintained and there was a lot of standing water. There had been a recent storm, so to compensate for the condition they allowed guests to play for free! 3. The cabin was clean, but there were a lot of spider webs, cobwebs, and spider eggs around the beds. It looked like there's never been dusting between walls and beds. We understood there would be insects on our trip, but we weren't expecting them to be our roommates. 4. Not much going on during off season. So, we missed out on movie nights, breakfast, and other activities that are only scheduled during peak-season. We have already recommended this facility to family and friends. We look forward to exploring other KOA facilities!
