My car broke down during one of the coldest, rainiest days of January 2018. I had to call a cab to get home from the breakdown at the local Publix parking lot because AAA was experiencing too great a call volume. The next day I again needed a cab to meet the AAA truck for repairs. In both cases, the drivers arrived within 30 minutes and were courteous and professional as can be.

It is 26*, real feel 15* outside. I decided to have a taxi pick my son up to take him to work (by 8am) since he has asthma & is affected by the cold.
7:48am, still no taxi. I called, the dispatcher says, "yeah we're behind. Dunno what to tell you. We'll have them there when we can". Now my kid is walking in the cold. Something happens to my son, Coastal Cab will be out of business cuz I WILL be suing!!!!!!
It was for MEDICAL reasons I needed him to get a ride... Now, he is at risk.

We called at 0415 needing to be on base to meet our ship at 0530. We requested 0440 pick up. At 0443 we called again and they said they were 10 minutes away. At 0513 he finally arrived and his trunk was full. We were now running significantly late so we held our belongings (seabags mind you are not small) and he spent the entire ride making excuses and trying to ask far too many invasive questions about ship information.

I was told that someone would pick me up within 30-45 mins. An hour goes by so I call back and was told they were having trouble finding someone to pick me up because it was early morning. A call would have been nice so I could look to make other arrangements.

Coastal Cab has become terrible, they tell us 5 minutes then 20 minutes later we get a guy who has absolutely no idea where he's going. On top of that we asked for a cab driver with a card capability, we end up getting one that will only take cash for him to only charge us to take us to the ATM then back to the house. I don't even know how this cab company is still operational.
