Recently dined at the Coastal Flats located in Tysons Corner mall, food and experience was good. But two weeks later, my credit card had 5 unauthorized charges. I cannot prove the waiting staff is guilty of anything, but that particular credit card is the one I use for recurring utilities payments, one that I never swipe at stores or shop online stores (this is how I notice the unauthorized charges - it was used to buy things from 5 online stores). Luckily I was able to cancel this card and not be penalized for those unauthorized purchases. I was using this card at the restaurant because the meal was for a birthday, so I wanted the bill separate from my usual monthly expenses (another card for everyday/online purchases). I don't think I will come back to Coastal Flats again, even though I find the food and environment good, we had a great birthday meal. But I don't trust the people working there.

Overall a good place with decent food albeit a bit pricey. However, you get good quality food and service so the prices are reasonable. Personally, I prefer the Fairfax Corner location more than this one but both are great!

I took my parents here for my dads birthday and after our meal the waiter followed us out and accused my 74 year dad of cutting the waiter off earlier in the day and threatening, my dad is a PHD engineer who is very calm and would never do anything like this. The waiter wanted to take photos of my dads car. I let them and took photos of the waiter and a video too. Then I called the manager because it was so crazy and the manager claimed he would send me a two person meal for my parents to make up for the craziness and it been three month and nothing came in the mail. Just remembered this and I had to speak up. Was a fan but it looks like Coastal Falts is getting flat.

My initial visit was not very pleasant but the managers handled the situation REALLY PROFESSIONALLY. I called to apologize and listened to my last word of my story very carefully. I have been kept going back and could see the improvement of employees' service. AWESOME!
