This was our first time and we absolutely loved it. From walking in to the vibe, to the drinks and finally THE FOOD. Yes be prepared to spend money but the food was high quality and delicious. Our server was awesome and helped us decide. We recommend the Omakse II. It gave us a nice spread for the whole table. They were very attentive to my gluten allergy. Well definitely be back to try the kitchen made food.
Amazing food. Just simply a pleasure of an experience. The protein, wether you go for the Wagyu or the Bulgogi, is so flavorful and delicious. Our host, Amber, was very knowledgeable and is the perfect person to help someone who's never experienced Korean BBQ before. The pricetag can be a bit expensive, but for the money it would be hard to find a better bang for your buck in the area. Cannot recommend this place enough
We enjoyed our time here and most of the food, but it is expensive and definitely overpriced. We would try a bbq table again only if we had a large party and would order alacart over the omakase options. The wagyu and galbi were the true highlights. I didn't find any of the banchun particarily notable. The potatoes are better if you bbq them and then toss them back in their sauce. The daikon is incredibly boring, but we tried it a few different ways, the best of which was in the leftover galbi sauce and then grilled. There was also kimchee and two other dishes that I don't recall their names. One was some sort of pickled cucumbers; it was ok. The other was the best of all the banchans, but I am not sure what it was. Bokchoy? I was not a fan of the soju, redbull flight. It's also $24, which is kind of crazy because soju is so inexpensive We usually buy a bottle at Korean restaurants. I was impressed with the Bubble Pop. The flavors blended well, and the drink was neither overly sweet nor tart. The decor and vibe were nice, and the bbq area was busy but not overly loud. We also checked into the karaoke prices, which I didn't see listed on their site. It's $30 for a half hour and $50 for an hour for up to ten people.
I brought my girlfriend to celebrate her 43rd birthday along with our close friends and I have to say we had a spectacular time. They are all still talking about it and I'm so grateful for the amazing service, delicious food, out of this world drinks and all around great experience! Our server Nicki was great and informative about the bbq table and menu and was absolutely great! Thank you Cobra!
Oysters let's go! Great atmosphere, relaxed and fun. Drinks are great, kudos to the old fashioned. And staff super friendly with good vibes.Food: 5/5
omg! so happy i found this place best meal I had in a long time! great environment as well! my kids had a blast...and going back next week for girls night! all the combinations of condiments and meat...my taste buds were on fire... Great Korean BBQ
I had assumed I wouldn't be able to find much here as a vegan, but there were actually some great options! Absolutely loved all the food especially the japchae and I feel like the Korean food scene in Pittsburgh was lacking before I discovered this place.
My boyfriend and I went to Cobra to celebrate our anniversary. We sat at one of the tables with a grill in the middle. The food was delicious, and it was a fun experience! I recommend getting either the Omasake I or II package. We got Omasake I because we love bulgogi. It did not disappoint! I felt that it was a great date night experience, but each table only has one small grill in the middle. The tables were spacious, but the grill would have been a bit cramped with more people. We went on a Saturday night at 7 pm, and the restaurant was not busy yet, but it was packed when we left. If you have a larger party, you might be able to get 2 tables across from each other between 5 and 7 pm if they aren’t as busy. If you are worried that you won’t know how to cook everything, fear not! The server explains it all. It is very easy. Overall, great experience!
Celebrated my birthday here, had a great time! Very good food and drinks, loved the ambience. Nice service especially compared to other experiences in Pittsburgh.
Love this restaurant! This was a very good experience. A great restaurant for Valentine's day with my man. We were seated immediately. The waitress was really nice and explained the menu to is, answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations. We ordered: Oysters--PHENOMENAL. BBQ--Fantastic. Fries--SOO GOOD. The sauce was great too! Dessert--Great experience. Not a fan of shaved ice but was still enjoyable! The food was fresh and delicious. Very good quality Staff were so friendly and quick. Parking wasn't too bad in a Sunday. Ambiance was romantic. Great experience.
