Great place to hang out n vacation. I would call the pier small by comparison to other piers I've been to. But it's a great place to visit! Make sure you walk through to the end. It looks like you might not be able to pass through some of the establishments on the pier but you can! Towards the end of the pier it costs $3 to enter but there is a bar at the end and your token gets $2 off a drink. The best views are also past this point. The pier gets very busy on launch days so get there early. If the pier is full find a spot on the beach North of the Pier. You can surf at the beach and play in the waves. Highly recommend buying a boogie board if you'll be staying a while. I didn't notice many (or any) bug or sand fleas here either. Also the Beach etiquette is very good at this beach! 

Pro tip: Nice bathroom are on the interior of the pier
And free parking after 5pm which is sometimes the best time to visit as it becomes less hot and humid.

A really unique place the whole Pier is owned by Westgate Resorts you can literally travel from one bar and restaurant to another with your drinks ask for the military discount 15% off anywhere you go just make sure you remind the next waitress or bartender they tend to forget.. but that is understandable.. thanks to our friend Matt the local we met who gave us a couple tips and local restaurants in the area we will be trying them this week

Since this pier was saved by the Westgate owner, it has undergone a tremendous renovation that makes it more beautiful than ever. You can fish off the end of the pier, in the middle of the pier there is a restaurant that serves delicious Seafood. I would highly recommend you try the fried alligator. At the beginning of the pier you can get all of the supplies you need for a day at the beach and anything you may have forgotten.

10/12/2017 update.  Lots of changes.  Garlic Burger $13.95 now not worth it.  Crab dip app over-salted.  We won't be back.  Previous review: 
 The great ocean breeze and views are awesome.  The garlic burger is a must if you are into burgers.  Full on garlic, they are not afraid to use it.  The seafood jambalaya is loaded with seafood.  They really spare no expense to make sure that each bite has seafood in it.  We just love the fact that we can be so casual and get such great food, all within just a short walk from home.  We even had guests from out of town and took them there.  They really loved it!  The staff is friendly, and they know how to serve, pre-bus and they do not chase you out when you are done.

Cocoa beach pier has done some renovations. It is cleaner & looks nicer. It is usually pretty busy especially in summer. Always a fun place to be. They have a nice large arcade now.
