When visiting my in-laws in northwestern Indiana we visited Collins BBQ on a hot summer day. Baby back ribs : soft, quality meat, delicious sauce Corn bread muffins : crispy bottoms, soft insides and just the right amount of salt and butter on the inside Mac n cheese : creamy and nicely done noodles Overall the take away meal was delicious. The whole family enjoyed.

So we were here only for the weekend and happen to find this place. Everyone was so friendly, the workers and Mr Collins were great! It was obvious that we weren't from the area and we had a larger group. They were happy to accommodate us. Mr. Collins was so friendly coming out and talking with us. Portions were wonderful, it can be expensive feeding my husband who's 6'9 and a son 6'4, and our family of 4 with drinks was only $36. Our cousins that were also with us agreed this place is terrific. Mr Collins wanted to make sure everyone was filled and that everyone was able to sample his specialties that he brought us out additional food (shhhhhh, I think he liked us as much as we liked him) If we are in the area again, we definitely will stop by. They also ship food, so we may need to give that a try. Mr Collins I pray God continues to bless you.

Great food, huge portions at good prices. Old building had some trouble with the cold weather. Brisket, hot links and Turkey "Tips" (chopped smoked thigh meat) were great, Mac and cheese was buttery but not that cheesy. Wonderful friendly service.
